These beef sticks are delicious and are grass fed. They are lower in sodium and have minimal ingredients, which are all natural. Relatively affordable compared to similar beef sticks on the market. I did quite a bit of research until I discovered these. I give the to my eight year old daughter sometimes as a snack for school. They're minimally processed but still slightly processed as all beef sticks are, so we do mix it up with other snacks. But she's very picky and likes these a lot. She does say they are a bit spicy and picks at it to take the seasoning. But she's very sensitive to any kind of seasoning at all. And still enjoys them.

Amazing snack for the entire family!

I'm impressed with the difference in these meat sticks compared to others you find at gas stations and grocery stores. This meat is sourced from the U.S. and Canada, raised without antibiotics, no added hormones, vegetarian fed and it's made in Vermont. First 3 ingredients are Beef, Pork, and Sea Salt. Each stick is about 1/2" in diameter and 6 1/4" long. Each contains 6g of Protein and has 80 calories. These meat sticks are moist, tender and not too peppery. The Sea Salt can be a little salty tasting at times but, overall, these are really good. I'm used to eating meat sticks that are harder in texture and more flavorful because of the artificial ingredients but I'd much rather eat these because they don't contain all of the unhealthy preservatives. This is also certified Gluten-Free. The price for a box of 24 seems high initially until you consider that a less healthy, smaller stick costs around $2.00 each. This is so much better for you and less money so I recommend these to anyone wanting a more healthy snack on the go!

I received Vermont Smoke & Cure Meat Sticks, Beef & Pork, Antibiotic Free, Gluten Free, Cracked Pepper, 1oz Stick, in the 24 Count box free in exchange for my unbiased opinion. I selected them because they are labeled as being antibiotic free, vegetarian fed, no added hormones, and the best reason for our household is the gluten free part. The meat sticks are perfectly moist, and tender. Unlike some beef sticks, they are easy to bite into. The cracked pepper flavor is not overly done, and (in my opinion) have the perfect balance. The flavor is similar to the little smoky sausage links many buy for recipes for get-togethers, mixed with a smoked sausage taste. I really like these a lot. My daughter is gluten intolerant, and I had her try them. She absolutely loves them, and plans to buy a couple boxes so she can pack a couple in her purse to take to work for a snack on breaks. It has been hard for her to find things she can eat with the limited diet, and the fact that they taste so good has even won her over more. I can honestly suggest these without pause.

The Vermont cracked pepper meat sticks are delicious. I'm very fussy when it comes to beef sticks and I loved these. Not only are they very tasty but they also make a great snack at only 80 calories each. They also don't have nitrates, preservatives, or MSG in them & the meat is also raised free of antibiotics and added hormones, so these are definitely a much healthier option then any other beef stick that I have come across. I'm not only fussy about taste but I'm equally fussy about texture. If the texture is mushy, I won't touch it. These don't have the mushy texture that a lot of other beef sticks have. These are by far the best beef sticks that I have ever had and these will be my new to go beef sticks. I would highly recommend these!

This is going to be worth the long read so maybe get a drink or get comfy before you start reading, lol ! I usually dislike anything that even resembles Jerky or some sort of meat thingy in a package, but these have changed my mind ! This is a quality product. They are Gluten Free and Antibiotic free. The taste reminds me of when there was a sausage store at the mall. The taste is genuine, slightly smoky, and you can taste the pepper. It's not overly spicy and it tastes so delicious that I even sliced them up and made them into Omelettes. The kids asked to have one as a treat which is awesome since it is Protein and not a junk food. If you follow a Low Carb or Gluten Free eating plan, you will most definitely want to keep these around for that quick bite! You can't beat 0 Carbs and a mouth full of Taste!

These Vermont smoked and cured "gluten free" meat sticks are delicious. And I do not swell up when eating them. My granddaughter who has to eat gluten free thinks they're terrific. Don't taste salty. I had the flu and my granddaughter absconded with them. No added hormones.. low calorie count, low cholesterol, low sodium, 6 protein. The flavor is great. We highly recommend these Vermont sticks.

These meat sticks are perfect. They have a wonderful mild salty flavor from a mix of beef and pork with a slight peppery kick. The sticks are a bit softer and easier to chew than some all-beef sticks that I've tried. The meat sticks are a generous 1 ounce size. They pack in 6 grams of protein each with 0 carbs and 0 sugars. It's hard to find decent portable protein, but these really are perfect for taking on the road. And knowing that Vermont Smoke & Cure is committed to using humanely raised meats and ingredients from local businesses, you can feel great about buying from the company. I would definitely recommend this product and I will be buying more.

I have always enjoyed this type of meat snack. I found this one to be a good one, tasty without a strong salt taste and just the right amount of moisture. I didn't find bits of bone or gristle, a good even chew. That being said, they upset my stomach. Let me add the caveat that I am three score and ten. My much younger son-in-law had no problem with them at all. I am jealous.

To be honest, I wasn't familiar with the Vermont Smoke and Cure brand before coming across this product. I'm wary of all store bought meat sticks. A popular maker of them continues to produce them smaller and smaller in size with more added filler to the point Im not sure there's any actual meat in them. I was thrilled to discover these Vermont Smoke & Cure Meat Sticks have real beef and pork in them along with other ingredients I had heard of and could actually pronounce. Best of all the animals are raised without antibiotics or hormones and are vegetarian fed. Could something that sounded this healthy actually be good? You bet it is. These are my favorite snack of late. I find myself tucking one in my bag when I head out for the day or keeping one or two in my desk at work. Makes the perfect, quick bite giving me a bit of a protein lift when I need it. The flavor is cracked pepper but the pepper taste is very subtle and not overwhelming as it sometimes can be. These sticks are larger and a 24 pack might almost seem too much, but believe me, you will find yourself going through them quickly once you get a taste. At least I'm hooked.
