This is really helpful for afterbirth pain. It's no miracle cure, but definitely takes the edge off. I still used ibuprofen the first day after birth, but the following days I was able to get by with just this. If you're on your first or second pregnancy, you may not need this. But the more kids you have, the worse/longer lasting the afterbirth pain is. I only felt I needed something like this after babies four and five. The taste isn't my favorite and it kind of lingers in the plastic of whatever cup or bottle you drink out of. I would suggest using a cheap cup you don't mind getting rid of later, in case you end up being bothered by that. It's not horrible, just not something I want to keep smelling and tasting on my cup forever.
I ended up not having to use this post partum, but I have heard such great reviews about it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really appreciated this tincture after my fourth baby. It gave quick and effective relief for the after birth pains, and it felt good to be able to take as needed compared to the wait for OTC pain killers (not to mention their toll on the organs). I even like the taste of the tincture! My midwives recommended I pump it straight under my tongue and hold it there before swallowing for even faster impact. I'll definitely have this on hand next time.
This stuff is incredible! I've used it after my last two babies, and just bought two bottles to have ready when I have another baby soon. It's the only thing I've tried that actually helped with after birth pains. Works better than tylenol/ibuprofen and you can take it as often as you need to. Will ALWAYS recommend After Ease!
My chiropractor told me to buy this before birth. I was skeptical but I did because I figured it couldn't hurt. Well, my afterbirth pains (with this being my 3rd) have been intense—as bad as labor contractions in some cases—and really affecting my postpartum. But then I remembered I bought this. Every time I take a dose the pain almost instantly becomes much more bearable. I'm a believer now! This is an essential in any 2nd + time mom's recovery tool kit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it thinking : for sure it won't work but let me try it so I don't say I didn't . Had terrible pain with all 3 of my kids afterbirth and number 4 this magic potion made everything go away ! Didnt take one pill of ibuprofen or Tylenol!!! Just made another order $150 worth for all postpartum support and many other things . I hope they will be as good as the first thing I tried . Amazing company and product !!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 3 births this stuff has truly been a lifesaver. After pains/after birth contractions are different for everyone but I always experience extreme pain for the first 3-5 days. AfterEase SERIOUSLY makes the difference and I won't be without it in my postpartum kit for my 4th and upcoming birth!
This stuff works amazing and quick!!
Definitely helpful
I don't feel like it worked
