Würth Ready-to-Use Lightweight Joint Compound, 1 gal, Gypsum, Pre-Mixed

I have used to craft a fun Christmas tree on a large canvas using my hands. Put on plastic gloves and smear a background on the canvas. Before it all dries , with your hands add more and wipe with your fingers the shape of your Christmas tree. So simple elegant looking and use your imagination if you want any color or just leave all white.

I love the large container for the incredible price I paid online! I have never used joint compound before, only spackle by DAP. Let me tell you I am Sold on this brand and product! Great smooth material and dries relatively quick but not too quick as I mainly use it for my textured art. I even put some in a silicone mold and it worked! But I learned a trick doing that…grab some glue, I used the good old white glue from Elmer. Adding glue before you remove your mold reduces the breakage. I also use it for stenciling on everything! From cardboard to cabinets! Amazing results! I am about to use it for a coating on something, I just haven't figured out what yet. So easy and friendly to work with and cleans up very well!

So I used this in my art classroom to teach the kids how to make air dry clay at home. This joint compound was perfect! The texture was nice and smooth, it was easy to measure, and stayed nice and white in color so painting dried projects was easy and it took color well to create colored clay. Excellent product for air dry clay recipes!

I've bought probably over 20 of these big and small, they never disappoint and are so easy to work with. It sands very easily and works good with paint. One bucket of this size can coat a whole wall ( I used it for wall texture purposes as well as hole repair) clean up is easy as long as you get to it in a reasonable time.

This product was so easy to use. It filled the seams of the drywall perfectly. I would pay a little extra for something like this rather than mixing the plaster myself.

I bought this to use in a paper mache clay recipe I found online. I'm using it to make a Halloween costume. It worked great! It dried hard. Easy to use. Smell is not terrible when wet. Odor disappeared when dried.

This is a excellent product. Its soft and easy to use, it dries quickly and becomes hard. Easy to sand and paint. Looks awesome. Can be used in walls for patching. The best part is the product is cost effective.

Easy to mix %26 had minimal powder dust %26 didn't notice any odor. Dried quickly, however I still waited 24 hrs. before sanding as I live in a high humidity climate. Sanding was with ease. Would recommend this product. Added bonus was the tub was easy to open. Others I've used have been a nightmare.

If you are doing sheetrock, do not buy this. If your using it for a project that you need the joint compound to be as hard as a rock then this is great fot that. I needed it for drywall joint compound and it dryed so hard that I couldn't sand it. I'm glad I only used it on a small area.

This stuff dries hard as concrete and is impossible to sand quickly. Takes a monumental amount of time to sand even with 100 grit sandpaper. Very disappointed with all the extra sanding required. DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP UNLESS YOU LIKE ENDLESS SANDING!!!!
