So there I was, rearranging my office, and my desk turned out to be just a little wider than the room could handle. One wrong angle and boom, hole in the wall. Not my proudest moment. Ordered this XFasten mesh tape and honestly could not be happier with how the repair turned out. First off, the ease of use is fantastic. I'm not a handyman by any stretch, and this made me feel like one. Cut a piece to size, stuck it over the damage, and I was ready to go. No confusing steps, no special tools needed. The mesh covers holes beautifully. Mine was a pretty decent sized gash from the corner of my desk, and the 6-inch width gave me plenty of coverage. The tape stuck right where I placed it without curling up or shifting around, creating a solid foundation for the repair. When it came to applying spackle over the top, everything went smoothly. The mesh gave the compound something sturdy to grip onto, and I could spread the spackle right across the surface evenly without it sagging or falling through. It held its shape perfectly while I built up the patch layer by layer. Once it dried, I sanded it smooth and hit it with a coat of paint. The end result? You genuinely cannot tell there was ever a hole there. No weird bumps, no visible outline, nothing. I've had people in my office since the repair and nobody has noticed a thing. If you've got a wall that needs patching, just grab this tape, some spackle, and a little sandpaper. Save yourself the cost of calling someone. Highly recommend.

I bought this drywall tape to fix some places in my home. the tape was delivered quickly and accurately. I have not used it yet as I am recovering from an accident that happened after I got a battery powered scooter from Walmart. I am having trouble with my brain after the accident. when I can use the tape I will add pictures of my walls.

Very easy to handle; however, I thought it should have more adshieve because the area that I repaired immediately came off.

It's not sturdy enough to do the job that it is intended to do. Does not stick well either.
