DEFINITELY MORE POWERFUL THAN MY HAYWARD 1.5HP POOL PUMP, MY HAYWARD DRAWS 12 AMPS AT 120 VOLT, THIS PUMP DRAWS 4.7 AMPS AT 120 VOLT AT FULL SPEED, ENERGY SAVING, AND POWERFUL AND QUIET AT LOW SPEEDS, SHOULD OF SWITCHED YEARS AGO, I KEEP THE HAYWARD AS A BACKUP.

Great pool pump, works well. Can run on 220 or 110, comes with grounding bolt (make sure you ground it! you will need an additional grounding rod and wire). Pump has low/off/high rocker switch that's weather sealed. It's loud on high but not very noticable on low speed. Would definitely purchase again.

So far, so good. Replaced my horribly expensive Pentair pump with this ExtremePower product on the recommendation of my pool service. He said he had installed quite a few and had no issues. This pump really moves water, including two water features. It's quiet and has a nice user interface on the panel. So far, I'm feel happy and ahead hundreds of dollars.

Half the price of identical unit priced by local pool company.

IT SHOULD BE LISTED IN BOLD, "FOR ABOVE GROUND POOL" After I received it, this fact was in bold on box,, Yet in description,. in the tiniest prinr- AT THE VERY END- "For above ground pool" It was listed with the better motors describing all it's features.. ONE ASSUMES it is a real PUMP

First pump the shaft was frozen and tried to contact co.many but they don't answer the phone. So absolutely no Customer service. Wal-Mart was good about the return. Did order another pump, low s setting runs not and trips thermal shutdown switch. Will just use high setting which so far (2 weeks) working fine. Only reason I stayed with this pump is because I didn't want to redo the plumbing again. Hopefully will continue to work, because the Warranty is worthless if you can't contact the company.

I can' t give a review regarding the pump, I had it for only 3 days. It will not be accurate. I will have yo wait at least a year to see how it works. Customer service sucks, I speak for my experience. You ask a question and they tun round the bushes, no straightforward answer. The company needs to have on Youtube or on their website about the settings and also an app. There is nothing about their pumps besides on video that has nothing relevant to day to day use. You can communicate only via email, if you have a question on weekend you have until Monday when they get back to you.

Not happy at all with this XtremepowerUS 1.5HP High Flow Swimming Pool Pump! The item's description states 1.5 HP pool pump, but when delivered, the manufacturer's label on the motor itself shows that it is actually only 1.0 HP. Very deceiving!
