It is not an easy job but I didn't want to rent one and didn't want to order from Amazon in case I didn't like it. I have a small yard so I took a couple days to get it done. If you're young and strong you could probably get it done in a couple hours. It did the job. Looking forward to my lawn next summer.

I really like the de thatched rake. It worked great. I didn't realize it came with gloves with tips to assist with picking up the grass. They were great to have just wished they were padded to avoid any injuries to the hands. Plus I wish the pole handle had more rubber on it instead of an all steel hole. I got a blister on my hand from using the rake. Over all I found the rake to be very useful. Thanks

Sturdy rake after dethatching me entire lawn.. Purchased a different one from Walmart last year and was poor quality, the spot welding attaching rate to the handle broke and made the rake useless.

This rake does the job for dethatching your lawn. It takes time and patience to maintain a yard, but your grass seed will thank you for it because it will be able to reach the soil instead of dying.

So glad I purchased this thatch rake. I had bare spots in my backyard and it was supposed to be aerated and seeded soon. It now has new grass in the bare spots and looks great!

The product works quite well. However, you need to apply a great deal of strength while raking to remove the dead grass.

For my new yard it worked wonderful. Thatched up all dead debris %26 more. Worth purchasing for sure!

This rake is great! We have tons of pine straw and this rake makes it much easier to clean up

They should use American standard nuts, and bolts had a hard time tightening what they gave me

I did not have a good experience with this Rake The rake was hard to work with and took more effort than expected to spread smoothly, even on small repairs. For the cost, I expected better performance and easier application, I would not recommend this one based on my results.
