A stud finder that finds more than a piece of wood is a great improvement over tap tap tapping on the wall and guessing. This unit has more than one use. It finds studs, metal frames and wiring. I found the enclosed directions hard to read due to small print size. The stud finder was simple and straightforward to operate. I found the stud and marked where to add the hanger in the time that it would have taken me to begin finding one side of the stud using older methods. This is a real keeper. It is well thought out and serves multiple roles in finding things lurking in the wall.

i asked husband if he liked stud finder ..he said yes...then I asked him does it work well and he said yes it does....so, its a good one to buy...

Have to run over and over several times from different sides to actually pinpoint where the the wood in wall is.

Very hard to figure out. Wants to re calibrate every time I move it. Not very convenient.

The product doesn't work, sometimes it works and doesn't work at the same time exact spot. Also one place it detects both metal and wood so am confused as to what could even cause that.

Put the battery in - green screen lit up - nothing else worked. Not worth the headache - returned it - won't buy from the company again.
