Zefal Light-Up Bike Helmet (Universal Dial Fit, Ages 14+, Unisex)

I am doing a review on the Zefal Light-Up Bike Helmet. This is a very cool looking helmet. I love the bright green stripes on the pitch-black background. They are not reflective but when the lights shine on them at night they can be seen for sure. It is very obvious in the day too. Bikers have to be so careful they need equipment like this. This is also equipped with a light on the back of the helmet also which makes this helmet superb in my book. The light is red and it can be constant, flashing, or chasing, whichever you choose it to be. There is a small black button on the bottom of the red triangle that you can press when you want to turn it on or off. It is definitely bright enough to be seen at night too. Toward the back of the helmet is a black dial that you can dial it to fit your head. My husband has a really large head and I really didn't think it would fit him. This helmet says it fits sizes from 58-61cm. I don't know what size he is I just know he has an extra-large head. Anyway, he put it on and said it didn't fit. I told him about the dial and so he took it off and turned the dial. Guess what? It does fit. It is also very comfortable. It also comes with a padded liner that can be taken out and washed. That is a good idea because I don't care how vented it is you do sweat. So washing is a good idea. It is well ventilated too. It has 21 large vents. You can feel the air when you are riding on your head. It really cools your body down. Oh, it also has a visor. It is made of EVS foam with a polycarbonate shell and is CPSC compliant. I trust this helmet. It is made really solid. I highly recommend this Helmet.

The light up bike helmet is a good product for kids it protects there head and has a light so that the kids can be seen and it's light weight he goes bike riding all the time and the way people drive it's a good idea to ware a helmet but this is very good he fell down on his bike and would have hurt his head but the helmet kept him from hurting his self very good product

I'm very happy with this helmet for my early morning bike rides. The dial in the back helps you adjust to your size, making it extremely comfortable and gives you assurance that it fits right. The light has a button to turn on-and-off which is great for bike riding in the dark or when the sun isn't fully shining yet - great safety feature.

I chose the Zefal light up bicycle helmet for several reasons. I value the rear facing light in case a child must ride during twilight, after dark or during fog or haze. It is not just an ordinary red light at the back. It has three modes to attract attention. You can choose constant, flashing or chasing. Nice safety factor only if it is in use at those times. Another plus is the sporty design with the high visibility neon green stripe decorations. Many complaints about helmets are that they are hot, rendering them uncomfortable to wear and often unused for that reason. This helmet is “air conditioned” with large openings to enable air flow through the top and sides. Half the battle is to get the child to wear the helmet and these great looks ought to help some especially in warm or hot weather. The chin strap is not just a single one, Two more straps come in from the rear and attach to the main chin strap. They are fitted with a number of adjustment features to allow for a comfortable fit. It goes without saying that the “brain bucket” protection seems adequate.

This Zefal bike helmet is really cool it not only protects him but it's lightweight so no fighting with hi to wear it and it's adjustable so you know it fits like it's suppose to. They show you a picture of how it's suppose to fit the correct way so that made it easy. What I really like is it has a Light on back of helmet that you can have steady on, flashing or repeating. I like that safety feature and the green in his helmet is reflective which is another plus.

So much cuter in person! I like this brand of bike helmet so I bought this one for my husband because the price was unbeatable and he loved it. Mostly black with very thin green stripes and the light is very small and useful. Not bulky looking at all! It fit his head perfectly because they have that cool size band. I definitely recommend

This has three light settings so you can choose to have it flash so it is easier up see you. It fits well and is very sturdy. It's heavy but not uncomfortable.

Great product!

This helmet has worked out great for my five-year-old son who has a large head. There is an adjustment knob in order to fit the helmet to either a smaller head or a larger head whichever the case may be. The design is nice to allow air to flow through the helmet so as not to cause a sweaty head. It somewhat resembles a waffle weave. The helmet is also shaped well, so in case of an accident that His head will be well protected. It is very light weight, so one would almost forget it's there. There is a light on the back Of the helmet that you can turn on with a push of a small button. The light is red, triangular shaped and can be solid, flashing, or strobe flashing. This is a nice feature for any age. I did not give it five stars because the padding strips on the inside are attached with small Velcro pieces and do not seem like they will last. I received this helmet at no cost for my honest review.
