this really does make my pool look more pristine and the times I have to backwas are less and it filters even smaller than regular sand so im saving money chemicals and time using this product. i definitely recommend. just dont forget to soak and backwash and rinse before filtering so you dont add the powder from it into your pool. i made that mistake once smh lol but other than that i wouldn't go back to just pool sand. plus you use less sand than regular pool filter sand. this also makes your filter work better i think anyway
With some pool products, it is hard to determine if they are 'working' or not. If you have a pool light, turn it on after dark with your pool pump running, preferably after a day of significant pool use. Take notice of the clarity/cloudiness of your water. Add this non-chlorine shock per instructions especially around the lighted area. Come back to the pool 20-30 minutes later. You will likely see a clearer pool. I have noticed a major difference after pool parties with many suntan oiled swimmers. Even if this is not an occasion that you see a difference, be assured that this shock is burning off non-visible chloramines that are the source of odors and cloudiness that ultimately improve the effectiveness of your chlorine tabs or granules.
We use the Oxy shock when we know company is coming over to swim. I toss it in the pool an hour before they arrive. Doesn't raise chlorine level but helps clean up oils and etc from swimmers.
Not sure if it's the oxidizer or not but my pool looks and feels great. I have a saltwater pool and don't usually add shock but had to meet the shipping min and thought I'd give it a try. I will be adding 1 per month throughout the 6 month Fl swimming season.
My original order was for 50lbs of Zeolite Filter Sand and yesterday's delivery was only 25 lbs, just wondering if it is a split delivery or there is some confusion about my order?? TY, Joe
Beware of the classic bait and switch! I ordered 3 50%23 bags and they delivered 3 25%23 bags. Online customer service said that they would send the same amount and then received an email saying that they would not deliver the other half. Returned it for a full refund at my local store. Deceptive description.
SCAM. The listing clearly advertised three 50 lb bags, but I received three 25 lb bags. I paid for 150 lbs and only got half of what I ordered. Rather than correcting their mistake and sending the missing product, the seller wanted me to repackage and return everything for a refund. This was entirely their error, yet they expected me to spend more time and effort fixing it. Avoid this seller.
order 3, 50lbs bags only received 3, 25 lbs bags. My order 75 lbs short and Walmart first said I should receive a new order of 2 additional 50lbs bags. But then said I had wait 48 hours to see if the rest of the order would show up. after that they said I would get a full refund, but I am still waiting.
The *Zeobrite Mineral* product itself is excellent, but the seller's listing was misleading. The advertisement stated that each unit included **two 25‑lb bags totaling 50 lbs**, yet my order did not match that description. I ordered ten 50‑lb units and only received half of what I paid for. The situation became even more frustrating when I tried to resolve the issue. Walmart's system blocked me from contacting the seller directly, leaving me with no option except to return the shipment. These are **large, heavy boxes**, and transporting them across town to UPS is a major inconvenience—especially for an issue caused by inaccurate advertising and poor seller transparency. This experience reflects poorly on the seller and on Walmart's marketplace oversight. I strongly encourage Walmart to review this seller's practices, verify their listings for accuracy, and ensure customers have a way to resolve issues without unnecessary hassle.
Really I waited 7 days for this and you cheated me 25 lb you have it listed as 50 lb. It's 25 lb bags not 50. I calculated how much I need and now I'm short thanks again for screwing me. I should have read reviews you guys need to fix this
