This salt is coarse grade. I wanted a salt that I could grind fine or leave chunky. I was happy with my purchase. It takes a little work to grind for table salt, well worth the effort.
Item recieved as promised (which is more that I can say for OTHER SELLERS on walmart.com) Be careful as walmart.com has a lot of different sellers, who do NOT send your items and they just keep your money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And don't expect Walmart to do anything about it!
We are using the coarse himalayan salt in a variety of ways that we find on the Internet. We got a bulk amount , 10-pounds to be sure we had enough. Using it in the bath water is 1 to 2 cups. It works for us in the bath like we found on the Internet.
I had to have them re-ship the first order was pure white. They were very accommodating and the 2nd package looked very close to the picture. There apparently is a huge amount of variability and you can't expect to get something exactly like in the "stock photo" they use for the ad. I'm not sure if you contact before and ask specifically for the darker salt if that will work.
Used for salt scrubs [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
They are amazing so far and I always buy my products from them. On-time either (earlier) highly recommended
The bag arrived with a split and someone put a piece of tape over it. Some salt has poured out. Tape is not working and I have had it spill out on my counter. I do like the flavor. I'll be using it for Christmas gifts in small jars.
It works better than Celtics in salt grinder. I'm not crazy about the size of the granules, but to be honest, I haven't used it enough to give a thorough report. I should have waited until I used it a few times. At least, hopefully, it doesn't have aluminum and other damaging chemicals in it like the salt I have been using my whole life, 75 years.
Never knew the benefit of this salt until I watched a video about it. Now, I'm using it to cook and add a couple of grains to my water bottle to drink. The grains are a little big that take a while to melt, so, I always soak a handful to a half glass of water, that way it's already melted and ready to use whenever I need it.
I ordered 10 lbs coarse salt for grinder. I got 10 lbs fine salt that won't work in the grinder. No way to contact vendor for customer assistance.
