(2 pack) El Mexicano Whole Green Chiles, Chile para Rellenar, 27 oz Can

I love using these to make chile relleno and chile relleno casserole on those lazier nights. They aren't spicy so everyone in my family loves them. They taste great and keep intact which honestly I didn't think they would. Definitely will be getting more in the future.

I loved finding the whole cut in half green Chiles. I cook Chile rellenos and very few stores carry the whole green Chiles. They are time savers. This can had twelve halves and we made a big casserole of delicious chile rellenos much to the delight of my family

High quality Chiles without the high cost of the smaller cans of other brands. I can make a recipe without having to buy four or five cans of chilies.

I use these whole green chiles to make a chili relleno casserole. I layer the chili with colby cheese and whipped eggs. Bake at 375* for about 25 minutes.

these are the very best canned chiles with almost no seeds at all and robust flavor at a decent price, I use them all the time since I love chile verde and I make the best Chile Verde

I was really surprised at how perfect these chilis are beautiful whole undamaged flavorfully excellent someone went through a lot of work to bring these chilis to us. Try em and you will see.

I love these peppers but one of the cans was severely damaged so not using that one. Whomever packs these needs to do a better job so the cans don't get so severely damaged.

Wanted to try this brand. It's packed in vinegar, that's all you taste. Useless to rinse off or pat dry, vinegar has soaked into to chile. Plus you never want to rinse chilies off it removes the oils and flavour of the chilies. Several were ripped badly which can't be used for chile rellenanos. Wont buy this brand anymore.

I like green chile's and prefer whole ones as I think they have better flavor than those already chopped. I used to be able to find hatch whole chiles in the stores, but no longer and hatch from on-line sources, including Walmart, is very expensive so I decided to try these. they're OK but I won't be buying them again. Their texture and thickness are good but seem to me to be lacking in flavor.
