These work well to ease my chronic constipation. Doctor recommended the name-brand stuff, which is a lot more expensive, so I searched for the main ingredient and found this substitute. It works great! I'll continue to buy this brand and make life easier. Just always make sure to drink at least 1 glass of water with it so that it works as it should.
This is a great product if you suffer from recurrent diarrhea or you frequently have loose stools or accidents. What it does is it firms up the bowels by absorbing excess water and gives you a firmer bowel movement without making you constipated. It also has a fairly wide dosing recommendation so that you may take from one to eight tablets per day depending on your individual needs. It is really just a bulking agent that firms up your bowels and depends on the dosing regimen you choose . It is actually not really considered fiber.
Told many decades ago to supplement my fiber intake. I tried name brand %26 it worked well. then I tried Great Value - works just as well %26 costs less. will continue to purchase this product. only down side is availability. it is Not available at all WalMart locations
Helps me NOT go. Specialist recommended for bowel incontinence not constipation. The equate version works as well as brand %26 of course easier on pocketbook. Usually I take 2 tabs with each meal.
This works well it's cheaper than fiber con and for the price of one fiber con I got two for the price of one fiber con.Has the same active ingredient .
Good ratio of the two types of omega 3's. I always freeze my omega capsules to discourage the potential fishy taste or burps but this one seems good even when I can't.
I have taken additional fiber supplements for years when I eat a high fat or cholesterol food. Drink plenty of fluids for 30 minutes to an hour when you take this supplement. I prefer to take it at least 20-30 minutes before a meal. It is important to drink plenty of fluid. If you're eating soup, that counts as fluid.
I was having issues with severe constipation as I don't eat much foods with fiber in them, especially since I've cut back what I'm eating to lose weight. I bought these to help and have been taking them for maybe 5-6 months now. They've helped a lot and constipation is rare now.
I like that I no longer have uncontrolled diarrhea that is either caused by my meds or age. However, I take 2 with my morning meds then 2 with my evening meds. It dramatically changed my stool after about 48 hrs. I am extremely happy with the results. I no longer have unexpected diarrhea. I am back to normal as I was when I was young.
I like these capsules better than the pills because they do not dissolve in my mouth like the pills do. The fiber helps control the firmness of my stool waste. Not as well as meta Metamucil but hey this is a lot cheaper than Metamucil. I take. I have colitis so I take Melamine but the added fiber helps too.
