Equate Multi-Health Daily Fiber Supplement Orange Flavored Powder, Value Size 48.2 oz

I bought this product to blend with some other powders for dieting. This is much better than I thought it would be. It has a really nice orange flavor and it is easy to drink because the flavor is good. I have tried other brands and this is my favorite.

This Equate item works just as well as the comparable product Metamucil, but is a greater value because of the low price. You can't beat that! I am adjusting my diet to be healthier and this has definitely helped. If you are using it to combat unwarranted hunger and cravings, I highly recommend this product. I feel satisfied and refocused in less than 15 min : )

I have been using this supplement for years, and it has consistently worked well for my tummy, especially after consuming it, as it provides extra fiber and quick relief. It's gentle, effective, and doesn't leave me feeling uncomfortable. The orange flavor tastes great, which makes it easy to take regularly. The only downside is that, over the years, the price has increased substantially. Other than that, this fiber supplement has been reliable and works exactly as expected.

I don't have intestines and such so I have to take it two to three times a day. It works great for bulking up chronic diarrhea. As far as the taste... I put it in juice. It's not really a bad taste, it's more of a texture thing, which leads me to my next point...drink it quickly as it starts to bulk in the cup. Is it as good as the name brand, absolutely. And, it less costly.

I take away a star for not having enough psyllium. But I use this in a blend of pure psyllium powder and husks. Alone those things will plump. Especially the powder which can form big sticky hard to swallow balls. By mixing this with those about 33% of each, it is this very affordable Equate powder and it's ingredients that create a clump free, effective blend.

I guess it works okay. I'm using this to help lower cholesterol my cholesterol as it is supposed to absorbs it and removes it from the body. Makes me super full when I drink it so not using it as much as I should. Of course it also works well to keep everything moving. 💩🚽

If you are used to taking Metamucil, and (due to availability issues) opt for this, please be aware that it is not the same consistency, flavor, or performance. Consider starting out with about 1/3 of your usual Metamucil dosage, and double your daily intake of water, because this stuff will run through you like a freight train, and leave you feeling like a dried-out sea urchin.

It's clumpy and gritty when mixed and it has little to no orange flavor. I've tried the name-brand product and even some other store-brands this is absolutely not comparable to those at all. I highly suggest you to go with another store-brand or the name-brand product over this one.

I thought I read the ingredients before I bought this, but I must have confused this with another brand. There is a statement that warns that "Consuming this product can expose you to chemicals including LEAD...". And FD%26C yellow NO. 6 can be bad, too!

Tastes kinda like "Tang." Has artificial sweeteners and food dyes in it. And because it's orange flavored, you're extremely limited on how you can blend it into your diet. Buy plain psyllium husk powder instead, and then you can blend it into many things: oatmeal, smoothies, breakfast cereal, etc.
