Ive bought bermuda grass before and thought i'd try pennington. threw them out by hand and watered a couple of times a day. the seeds are covered with a green something or other, im just a grandmother who likes flowers, anyway onthe third day i could still see the tiny green seeds on the ground and when i looked closer they were tiny grass blades sprouting! cant believe they came up so fast. Rest assured that i will never buy anything else but Pennington.

Pennington Bermuda does not germinate
At 21 days, not a single seed has germinated of the two 1.75 lb. bags sewn. Temp range over this period is 60 to 80 . Pennington has reiterated that temperature range for Bermuda grass, a warm weather grass; but has not offered a satisfactory resolution other than giving it more time.

Did not germinate.
I purchased this seed on May 27th and spread it the following day. I followed the instructions on the bag and watered it right away, and every day thereafter due to the high heat temperatures and direct sunlight. The seeds never germinated. This seed must have been old. Very disappointed. I thought in two weeks I would see some grass growth but there was none.

not good but honest.
I used the whole bag in a area that was cleaned and all new miracle ground soil put down in a smaller area recommended than the instructions said watered twice a day for 2 weeks and got horrible results, waisted time and money and won't be buying this product again.

The absolute worst! It's not traditional Bermuda Grass seeds. How do I know? Every patch I was trying to fill grew back this seed. But it's thicker than traditional Bermuda grass seeds. Now my lawn lost its uniformity. I was trying to figure out where it was coming from. It was these seeds! Get the Scotts! This one is just wrong!
