great buy
Instead of slaving over a hot stove to make a roux I use Savoys roux. It tastes the same as mine and is much cheaper and easier than making it to make a gumbo or stew.

Savoie's Old Fashioned Dark Roux Glass Jar
Substitute for Richard's Cajun Roux. We settled for this one on sale. Prefer Richards or Kary's Dark Roux.

I bought it for gumbo Roux I didnt like it, it tasted like chicken gravy IIll stick with my home my roux and hommade file

Not a fan at all
This has to be the worst roux, I ever had. it taste burnt. It takes a lot of flavor just to get that taste out of the food. I'm really disappointed. It does smell like a dark chocolate though, and I found it a little weird but if you like it, go ahead.

I never got my fracking stuff that was suppose to come in today I'm frecking tired of waiting for my roux if I don't get my stuff then I will be deleting this account up to y'all I either get my money or my roux
