(3 pack) Great Value Celery Seed, 1.9 oz

Lately the fresh celery we have purchased is either going bad or picked too early. I used up my celery seed and purchased this to replace it. I used it for added flavor in Ham and Bean Soup and I could definately taste the celery flavor in the soup. It will take awhile to use the bottle up but I will be purchasing this again.

Super easy to use throw in a mortar and pencil and grind it with other seasonings or use it as is, you certainly would get flavor out of it like in a potato salad a chicken salad you know whatever but if you really want to enhance it flavor, put it in a spice grinder, a.k.a. coffee grinder, or as I would prefer a mortar and pestle just one of the little small marvel ones does the trick and it's easy to get all of your product out of it so yeah, soy seed is a must have in your pantry

I have been looking in most of the grocery stores in the area and no one had celery seed. Once I saw I could order it from Walmart I did and now a happy customer.

If you use celery seed, this is a good deal. It's only celery seed, but I used it for roasting pork belly, and its good in certain soups and some salads.

I live alone, so buying celery means I'd be throwing away much of it after it spoils. I use this instead to get the celery flavor in my recipes and it works very well.

Not sure why the lid doesn't have a split lid. Lid needs a split pour AND sprinkle option. Only has a pour/spoonful option which is too big for tiny seeds. I have over seasoned with this spice because there is NOT a sprinkle option instead of the pour/spoonful only option. If only one lid option could be available, why wasn't the sprinkle option the choice???

It was not sealed.. I opened the top and it was the cover folded over. Like it had been used. It's not safe to use for me. You don't have to credit me for it. I will throw it away unless you want me to send it back

The bottle of celery seed that I received is clearly old and expired. When I opened it, it smelled like dirt. In my opinion, Walmart's Great Value brand is the worst. I'm questioning whether or not it's even safe to consume any of Walmart's Great Value brand products. Buyer beware.

Purchased 7/23/25. I always write BB/ UB date on product. Spice bottles hard to read. Used magnifying glass. BB date is 2/22/23 or 6/23/22 according to how jumble of numbers are read. GV Celery Seed. Will return.
