Big chili flavor, gentle heat
I didn’t have strong opinions about chili powder until I tried this. Great flavor. Earthy, smoky, slightly fruity, barely detectable heat. Those complaining about the “additives” do not realize that “chili powder” is always a spice *blend* containing ground chile peppers, herbs like Mexican oregano and cumin, and salt. Pure ground chile is labeled as a specific pepper (like cayenne).

Works great for enchilada sauce
Easier to use when making enchilada sauce than boiling pepper for chiliancho. Smoother taste not so bitter.

great for the spice rack
this works well to make a great pot of chili, and it is good for little extra tang in a salad or on a sandwich just for that extra flavor

Mexican Corn Must Have!
Used this on our Mexican corn along with Tajín and it was excellent! Gave the perfect amount of smokiness. However, deducting a star because it isn't spicy (to me) at all.

Not Spicy At All
Not spicy at all. If you want spicy chili, this wont help you. The spiciest ingredient in this mix is basic chili powder. If you want actual spicy chili you will need to buy Chipotle Chili Pepper seasoning and Red Pepper Flakes
