(4 pack) High Altitude Hungarian Whole Wheat Flour

I get this bc it has less nickel than regular milled flour. "Hungarian" refers to the process by which the flour is milled, which makes it finer and less contaminated by heavy metals in the soil which is a happy coincidence. This is absolutely delicious and is a very fine flour that raises well so long as you don't add molasses to it. This is a bonus for all the self-diagnosed gluten-allergic ppl out there (or who have kids they decided are allergic to gluten). There's no such thing as a gluten allergy, however 20% of women are allergic to nickel, foods high in this happen to overlap nicely with foods high in gluten. If you're a "non-gluten celiac," look into a nickel allergy. If you're allergic to nickel, look up foods to avoid. I thought I might have ibs when my Dr mentioned my severe nickel allergy and asked if I avoided foods containing it. Hence my discovery of this flour.

This whole wheat flour is ground in the Hungarian way which makes it more fine and airy than regular whole wheat. It's wonderful flour and will make great pasteries and bread, pancakes and waffles. The flour was a very good price so I stocked up on it. I store it in a container near my baking stuff and it stays fresh and wholesome for a long time.

This is a great price for whole wheat flour. It's very finely ground. Bran and getm are same size particles. It came in four five pound paper packages which were also individually bagged in plastic bags. This made it easy to freeze for longer term storage.

This flour taste amazing. For me personally, it just takes a little longer to digest compared to the other wheat flour I get. But overall it's a quality flour.

I am using this flour for a long time to bake bread that comes very close to a German bread that I love so much. I mix it with all purpose flour. I love it because it is very good quality and my breads always turn out great.

I absolutely love this flour. I do not live in elevated area, but because it's Stone ground it makes perfect bread. Also it's high in gluten and it rises well with yeast.

This flour has worked great in my bread machine for homemade breads. I combine it with other flours to get the best results. You don't have to live in a high altitude area for this flour to do it's job well.

A great healthy product locally grown. I like buying locally mfg products. The process for milling the flour makes it great for bread and dinner rolls.

I'm really happy with this flour in terms of quality and price. However, I've ordered it twice and both times have ended up with split bags inside of a split box spilling flour on my porch. 5 star flour, 1 star shipping.. Really the four pack is more like getting three bags after throwing out all that is spilled inside the box and sweeping up all that is on the porch. It makes a huge mess unboxing it, to the point where I might not buy it again. I did buy 2 four packs, so 8 bags total and they were all dumped into a big box together, which seemed to be part of the packaging issue. I have gotten flour delivered from several other companies (in large quantities) without these issues..

Good results with the WW flour. Five 5-lb paper sacks of flour were packed in a too-bid cardboard box. One of the sacks ripped, spilling flour through the inside of the box and over the kitchen flour. Lost about a pound of flour and am still cleaning up the mess. Your expertise in packing and shipping is poor over several of my orders.
