(4 pack) Martha White Self-Rising Corn Meal, 80 oz

I tried this self rising cornmeal in place of my usual corn bread mix, and have no regrets! I loosely followed the recipes on the back, added egg, honey and vanilla, melted butter in place of oil, and used regular whole milk for a quick country corn bread that had no leftovers when supper was done. I'll adjust it over time to get my own perfect recipe, but this will be the cornmeal I use from now on.

this is the cornmeal that I grew up with in the cornmeal I love. and I'm so happy that finally it's where I can buy it online from Walmart. be very careful if you have gluten issues. because I have celiac disease and got very ill by buying cornmeal mix. Martha White and White Lily and every brand name is now making cornmeal mix. Watch out for that word mix. because it means wheat flour has been added. I can't wrap my brain around why it doesn't say somewhere on the front of the bag that it has flour added. These companies should have to warn of this. there's absolutely nothing different about the front of the bags at all to indicate that the ingredients have changed. It's getting to where it's almost impossible to find plain old cornmeal. especially where you can order it online. I'm very grateful that Walmart now has it where I can buy it when I want it, rather than having to friend in someone taking out time to go into a store and find it for me. Thank you a Walmart.

I don't know what they've done to the cornmeal, but I've used the same brand every year for 15 years and all of a sudden it looked like paste it was white. It looks like flower. I love this one.

Martha White corn meal is a good product. You can make great cornbread and muffins. You can also make coating for fish and green tomatoes. Just try it.

Who ever shopped my order needs to find another job!!! They grabbed my flour bags, cornmeal and sugar by the top and chunked them in bags. Every single bag with those items had flour, cornmeal and sugar all leaked out into the Walmart bag. My cornmeal was opened completely from how it was grabbed up and put in the bags. I am VERY upset! I shouldn't have to wipe clean all my groceries because of someone else's negligence!!!!!!!!!

I ordered meal and got flour. I really needed my meal. ☹️🤔
