This is such a nifty item that I couldn't help but have high hopes. They were dashed when opening the box, honestly. The learning aspect is basically how to use a screwdriver, since there is no explanation of how wind is turned into electricity. An included pamphlet maybe? Anyway, the quality was also lacking as zero (0) of the screws line up, the gears between motor and blades don't mesh, and the pivoting base is really only for show. Neat, but disappointing. Eventually came back to this little project and got it working, but only if directly in front of a fast fan. It might've worked in the window once, I think I heard it clacking, but can't be sure because the gusts were throwing everything around. Gale force or nothing, says this little turbine.

Where be the wind easy to assemble but it takes about a 40 mile-an-hour wind to get it to turn I put it in front of a high powered fan that I have and it barely can get it to turn and light up but if you put it in 45- 60 mile an hour gusting winds at does turn but I recommend you using a 2 liter bottle and filling it halfway with sand or it's doesn't blow over that speed of wind so I claim this as a junk toy or experiment as it did not work reasonably anyway have to get to be turning with natural when it takes a wind load of it.
