Item has push notifications to my phone and I can talk to the person in view who can respond back directly without extra steps. Best of all, I can use cloud storage or my own as card and not be forced to buy storage.

Wow, setup was so easy! The camera came with a light socket to wall plug adapter which made setting up this bulb/camera super easy! Once I connected it to my wifi, I then installed the camera in its intended light socket, and everything just works! The light socket I planned on using it in was recessed a little to deep, but the kit came with an extension which worked perfectly. The image is really good quality. The camera has a good range of view, and responds super quickly in the app. I am able to quickly rotate the camera and adjust the viewing angles easily. The light is super bright and can be toggled on/off at the press of a button. I have a lot of IoT devices, and I have struggled setting up smart devices in the past. I always have issues getting them to connect to my network, or connecting to the device initially to initiate the connection. I didn't have any issues. I have a separate 2.4 ghz (which 2.4ghz is required for this bulb/camera) network than my 5ghz. So, I can't speak for shared SSID's, but again, easiest IoT device I have set up in a long time. I really have zero complaints.

Loves these cameras they work over all pretty well only thing I don't like is that at nite the flash is on and u can't see through the Glas light on both outdoor lamps and every sound is known by Notifications so that can be annoying at times

We use it outside at the front door and get alerts on our phones. The pictures and videos are really clear, and at night is the same way. I love how it moves to where movement is detected. We are going to buy another for the back porch.

I did need some help setting up the wi fi connection and called customer service and spoke with Mia who was such a huge help, showing patience when it took me time to do what was beeded. Thabk you so much for your help we love cameras we purchased 3.

I have 5 LaView security lightbulbs installed in my home (4 outdoor, 1 indoor) for the last 2 years, and they have functioned reliably. Only one failed after 11 months (it was on 24/7 and directly faced the sun in desert heat), but LaView sent me a replacement without hassle. What differentiates the LaView from most other similar security cameras is that if the WiFi connection is disrupted or lost, the camera continues to operate (track motion, sound alarm, infrared light, and record to the SD card when noise or movement is detected) - so if you are in a location where WiFi is unreliable, then the LaView will continue to work when other cameras will stop functioning. I've read some negative reviews describing difficulty in establishing internet connection, but I have not experienced this despite the fact that I am using a hotspot WiFi connection. The LaView app also allows you to view any activity recorded via your PC as well as your cell phone.

I recently bought the Easy Installation Light Bulb Camera for outdoor use and it's been fantastic! It was super simple to install—just screw it into a light socket and connect to WiFi. The 2K resolution and color night vision provide clear images, even in complete darkness. The motion detection is very accurate and sends alerts right away if there's any movement. I also love the two-way talk feature, which allows me to communicate with visitors directly through the camera. This camera is perfect for keeping my home safe, and I highly recommend it!

Fairly simple to set up, although one unit required multiple tries to set up. But it works ok now. Be sure to buy enough mini SD cards for your purchases.

Haven't even had these a month and one of them stopped working! Don't rely on the customer service for the product to contact you either! Complete waste of money!

does not work. ive spoken with the company thisentore time and they wasted me time giving me a bunch a work arounds but at the end it still never worked
