[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this for a few weeks and love this. It has so many options and is great to assist with preparing vegies and fruit. Have recently become diabetic and using this to prepare vegetables in place of pasta, for example. Great attachment.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great attachment. I have been spiralizing by hand for years. This makes the process so much more fun and fast. The only knock I have on it is you do need to cut your vegetables down in size to fit in it. Not a big deal, it increases the waste but only slightly. It consistently delivers the perfect cut, which is more than I can say for other tools.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this attachment to make Apple Roses and Apple strudel. Used the thin slicer with the larger corer for the roses, and included the peeler for the strudel. Saved so much time. Absolutely love it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When you are gifted 2 1/2 bushels of apples, you need to get busy and get them peeled. If all I used this for was peeling I would have been thrilled. Of course, besides the peeling, I added coring and slicing. The house smelled terrific, pie shells were filled and frozen, the waste was used for making apple cider vinegar. Now I can't wait to try spiralizing. Thank you for helping me knock out the apples without any cuts on my hands. The only negative that I may have is that the slicing is thin for pies, so I did do about a bushel of just peeled, and cut those by hand. Otherwise I love the Sprializer Plus with Peel, Core and Slice.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I purchased this to get through a 50 lb bag of potato's. I peeled 33lbs in less than an hour. I had it all bagged and prepped in vaccum sealed bags in 2 hrs. Peeled the rest of the 50lb bag in 45 mins chopped and made into mashed potato's. What a breeze this was to peel that many. Best investment!! Worth every penny
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I accidentally put the skewer to my spirializer in the garbage disposer. I contacted KitchenAid to get a replacement and they offered to send me one free of charge. Unfortunately it was back ordered, so a few weeks later I called back to see if there was an expected date of arrival, but there was no estimated date. The woman on the phone did not hesitate and offered to send me a completely new spirializer free of charge! I was absolutely amazed that this company was willing to replace the entire set for my mistake. I'm a KitchenAid customer for life!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I already own a hand cranking spiraliser (and another one that is like a giant pencil sharpener) they both sit in the drawer and I never use them. However I bought this spiral attachment for my Kitchen Aid stand mixer just a few weeks ago. I find that it's fun to use and does the job really efficiently. Much easier than the other devices. While I'm not on any particular low carb eating plan - or anything like that - I simply enjoy the fact that I can quickly mix zucchini spirals into regular pasta to make it less starchy and more healthy and colourful. I even tried the apple corer with spiraliser for quick and easy success. I'll work my way through the other attachments!
Solidly made and fairly easy to use. It spiralises reasonably well but the blades are limited and the results are pretty chunky. It can't really cope with wonky vegetables either. A fun addition for your KitchenAid but not completely fit for purpose.
I bought this and pretty much hate it. It doesn't core the apples correctly, leaving hard pieces of the core in my applesauce. It peels way too much skin. The little spike piece keeps falling apart when i have to remove the core from it and it is really frustrating. The metal piece doesn't really hold in it and it makes the apple not stable. I used it to save time and finally it is a waste of time and money.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just buy a spiralizer attachment and found out that the blade on the peeler attachment is on the wrong side, so it does not peel, and now just got a email saying that it will take a considerable amount of time before I received the correct part, a factory mistake, and Kitchen aid is not pulling the spiralizer off the shelfs, therefor long waiting time to get the right part.
