Alteril Sleep Aid Tablets with 60 count, 5 mg Melatonin, L-Tryptophan & Valerian - Drug-Free, Non-Habit Forming

I've had a problem falling asleep at night since I was a teenager. I've tried many sleep aids and Alteril works best without and drowsy feeling in the morning. My dark rings and puffy under eyes has been removed due to sleep. I am retired now and wished I had this product decades ago. However, thanks for now!

so, im a person who cant sleep. id practically sell my soul to be able go to sleep like my hubby. however i wasnt blessed like that. ive tried 100s of items to help from tea to hypno therapy to pills of every sort. i found this gets me that sleepy feel i need to relax enough to sleep.

Used this to keep my pasture green this past august for my grandsons wedding and it worked great … kept one acre looking lovely in over 100 degree heat and that was good enough for us.

Not as good as their older formula that if I remember right had more of the other ingredients and less of the melatonin, but still better than the other options out there in my opinion.

I would recommend this and already have. I've purchased it multiple times. Being older, sleeping can be a real issue. The Alteril I can take it an hour before bed and I'm very relaxed and ready to sleep and hour later. I've try prescription and other OTC sleep aids including just melatonin. This is the only one that consistently and reliably works.

It is a great alternative to prescriptions meds. I usually take it about 30 minutes before going to bed. It helps me be sleepy and I can usually sleep 6-7 hours a night, which is all I seem to require. Next morning I feel awake...no groginess. I love that I can order it on line as well

Alteryl comes in two forms. One is a slower acting tablet that contains more of the sleep-inducing ingredients and the other form -a gelcap - acts a bit faster but costs at least two dollars more than a 60 count box of the tablets. I buy the slower acting tablets because they are noticeably more effective and less expensive. I don't mind waiting another 15 minutes to go to sleep on the occasions when I need it. Alteryl, as far as I know, is the only sleeping aid, over-the-counter or prescription, that contains L-tryptophan. L-tryptophan is an amino acid that synthesizes proteins. It is also a natural component of turkey and chicken that makes people fall asleep. It also contains the amino acid glycine, melatonin and a proprietary blend of GABA, skullcap root extract, velarian root extract, chamomile extract, hops extract and passion flower extract. No other sleep aid comes even close to containing so many effective relaxation and sleep inducing ingredients. The downside of Alteryl is The ""other ingredients" it contains; crosamellose sodium, magnesium stearate, silicone dioxide, polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide and talc. These "other ingredients" are of concern because of the controversies that persist over how safe or unsafe they may be. Obviously I am willing to step out and take a chance. So far I have experienced no side effects from Alteryl which I've been taking off and on for years. Put simply, it works and for me has no side effects like morning drowsiness. I sleep 6 to 7 hours and wake up alert and eager to start the day.

Received these about one week ago and couldn't wait to try them. Took 2 approximately one half hour before bedtime and was asleep within about 10 minutes. it was the first night of restful sleep I had had in a long time. Took again the next night with the same results. Very happy with my purchase!

I have reached that magic age where my goal is to be awake all day and sleep all night and yet I am failing on both of those! Fortunately, this product, has become part of the series of different products that I alternate nightly because I have found out that if I stay with a single product, the benefit stalls out. It helps to have this but it is definitely not a standalone answer for me

My Revew is strictly as a Senior . As a first time taker for insomnia it dried my eyes, mouth%26nose so badly I was very very concerned with having a "dry stroke". I went to sleep quicky %26 smoothly but woke up, as usual, in 4hours but now with a headache %26 all of the above which i didnt have B4. I do take 1med for hip injury pain%26 hypertension med w/o side effects. Frightful night %26sleep experience.
