We love quinoa. It is gluten free and a healthier choice than rice and it is easier to cook than rice. I like this brand, Ancient Harvest, because it is pre-rinsed, unlike many other brands. Rinsing quinoa is a total pain because the grains are so tiny. I have used Ancient Harvest quinoa for years and will continue.
This is a great product, so happy Walmart offers it. Previously sold only in Health Food Stores in my area. Quinoa is a 'complete' protein unlike my favorite beans which have to be coupled with rice to achieve that status. Thanks.
I used this brand because I was making a large salad to take to a church luncheon. This quinoa was exactly what I needed to make my salad above average and healthy.
Look for different kinds of Quinoa. Be sure to rinse it real it well before cooking. A great tip, try putting some citrus in the water (lime, lemon, orange mixed or seperate and chopped cilantro). What a burst of flavor.
I actually love Quinoa. It's such a good side dish. I cook in chicken broth, and in separate sauce pan with some olive oil: onions, parsley, pine nuts and diced roasted red peppers. Then I dump ingredients in the sauce pan in together and serve. Delicious hot or cold.

This is a great alternative for my family. casserole, side dishes, salads, etc. no gritty dirt in this brand. Very clean and no bitter taste.
I love quinoa and appreciate its high protein level. I use it instead of rice or other grains in my soups, or just as a carbohydrate/protein with my meals.
So far I've used this quinoa to make oatmeal porridge So it boils well. It came fresh in a resealable bag. Nothing special. No surprises. I will buy again if I need it. Definitely recommend.
