ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda, Multi-Purpose 100% Pure Sodium Bicarbonate Powder, 5 lb Resealable Bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use Arm & Hammer baking soda for everything. It is a household must have staple. I prefer the arm & hammer brand of baking soda specifically because it is very fine making scrubbing faster. Plus, I can buy it in a resealable bag. That keeps it fresh compared to the boxes which slowly harden and absorb moisture and odors. I sprinkle it on my mattresses, and the pets beds. I let it sit for 10-15 minutes then vacuum off. I make odor absorbers for my refrigerators and freezers. I put two spoonfuls in a coffee filter then seal it with a rubber band. I put them all throughout my refrigerators and freezers and replace them monthly. I am a food prepper so I have 2 refrigerator- freezer combos plus, one deep freezer. I buy in bulk and pre-chop my veggies like onions and garlic which are known for being absorbed by other foods. Baking soda keeps those odors and flavors out of my ice maker and other things like butter and premade sandwiches etc. The same pouches also work for purses, shoes, dresser drawers, closets and trash cans. For those I add a drop or two of essential oils like lavender, rose and tea tree. I also use it on my dishes and pans. I mix baking soda with dish soap to create a paste. It always removes any burnt spots or rust without fail. I use that paste on my stainless steel sink and trashcan too. I even keep a labeled jar of arm & hammer baking soda next to my sink with premixed essential oils. It makes cleaning the sink and garbage disposal like an aroma therapy experience. I even use it to adjust the PH for my pool in a pinch when I run out of pool chemicals. A sprinkle in the washing machine softens bed sheets and de-funks pet blankets, toys and pet bedding. I basically use it anytime there is a stain / sticky spot on any hard surface and anytime I want to remove odors. As a homemaker I highly recommend Arm & Hammer baking soda. It so versatile and saves me so much time and money.

The original version just bigger is my favorite because of all the different ways you can use it and have leftovers that's in a reusable bag is definitely a must have for me. I can use it without worrying about not having enough and when it's almost gone I just get another bag. It lasts just the right amount of time for my family.
