Replacing one I have had for about 20 years

Love how the functions such as voicemail play back and erase etc can be done from the handset or can be done from the base. Like the choice of ring tones, some thing for everyone's taste in rings.

I get about 10-15 telemarketing calls per days excluding Sunday. I need a phone system with answering machine that can be silenced. First I turn off the ringer. But since I wanted the phone system to answer on third call so I don't keep my personal callers waiting too long to leave me a message and prevent unsolicited callers going to the answering system, I turned off the "Call Screening" feature off so when the answering system answers, I don't even hear the outgoing message or the person leaving a message. Third, I turned off the message alerts off so the system does not keep beeping to alert me that I have a message. This phone is feature packed but for me to regain my sanity, I need these 3 features in a system and am extremely happy with my purchase.

It's a great phone. It's a little tricky learning all the steps,so be patient, You'll get the hang of it.

Pros: Good hearing and talking clarity with ability to adjust or use speaker phone feature. Easy to read large lighted buttons, displays and numbers on telephone and base unit. Numerous features to accommodate and adjust unit to each customer's preferences. Very compact unit that takes up little table or counter space. Wall mount able as well. Cons (minor): Takes a little time and patience to read manual, understand and navigate menus and set up directory and preferences. Telephone and base unit small and lightweight. Probably would not hold up to much abuse or significant drops. Quality seems fine at this time but with any product these days, is always a question unfortunately, time will tell. With any product suggest keeping receipt and paperwork and submit warranty info if applicable.

This phone has a lots of static in it Can't Hartley here on it.
