AT&T EL52119 1 Handset Cordless Answering System with Call Blocking

I bought this phone for some elderly family members. It's easy and simple to use. It's also very durable considering they drop it a lot and it's held up!

The answering machine is easy to setup, phone is a sleek design, buttons are easy to press, clear audio. I had a similar AT%26T model that lasted for 10 years.

.. from the answering machine to the speakerphone, all works well! I would give it five stars, especially for the price, but my eyes aren't what they used to be in the screen is hard to read… it doesn't backlight so you really can't see it.. anyway I'm still very happy with the purchase. That's the only shortcoming that I have experienced.

I love the AT%26T cordless answering system except for one thing. After the first couple of weeks of functioning correctly, the display now always shows there is one new voicemail message, whether there is or not. Other than that, it's great!

I like the phone and the answering machine. Setting up the answering machine was not as easy. Just getting the machine to answer and record messages was not explained well in the directions. Messages initially went to voice mail instead of recorder based on number of rings .

Ordered AT%26T phone and could not use. Tried to return and site wouldn't allow me to get to proper location on line to return. Can't use and can't return. VERY UPSET with WALMART as I've been a customer for years and always order my groceries weekly as well.

I'm very disappointed in this purchase, and I'm an AT%26T retiree. When I call on the intercom, I get terrible reception and echoing, The range of the speaker is very low and the reception is not good. I'm constantly being told that the person cannot hear me. One of the phones doesn't hold the charge very long and I have to recharge it often. Now, I have to get a new phone!!

Purchased Jan 30 2025 Lasted less than 3 months April 22 2025 the speaker did not work The volume itself kept fluctuating on it's own without the speaker I purchased a new cordless phone yesterday May 7 2025 %26 went to a different brand. Too bad I can't return this one for a refund.

The ATT system I received is not compatible with the ATT handsets I have. It is not possible to register my phone to be compatible with the ATT system I received. Your 800 number never offered any help.

I opened up the box and there was no packing on the inside so I can only assume it broke while in transit. I have pictures to show where it's broken. very disappointed for all the tape that was wrapped around the box. No one put any packing material on the inside to keep it from shifting %26 thus caused the breaking of the plate.
