This coffee machine is for you if: 1) you're used to the strength of drip coffee makers or percolators 2) you want to maintain that strength in single serve options 3) you understand that this means it will take 3-5 minutes to brew a cup of coffee The negative reviews read, from my perspective, as people who are trying to upgrade their pod brewers, which make weak and quick cups of coffee. This machine doesn't make weak or quick coffee. It's perfect for people who don't want to waste coffee by brewing more than a cup at a time, but who want to maintain a smooth and strong coffee taste. It does get a bit messy in the interior as some people noticed, but every few brews I just wipe it with a paper towel and it's fine. I love the flavor of this coffee, the limited counter space, the wide range of brew options (size and strength), and the fresh grind every time. I have only had it for a week or 2 so I can't comment on longevity, but it also has a generous 2 year limited parts warranty, which is twice what you normally receive. That made me feel comfortable to take the risk on this new type of product.

I love that this machine. I love that it grinds the beans or you can use pre ground beans. I love the options. There's been a few times where I've set the delay but then decided I want another cup of coffee earlier than the delay is set for. And it's a pain to turn the delay off. So I wish that was easier. Also mine keeps leaking water out the bottom. I can't figure out why. I'm not sure if I just got a defective one or if I'm doing something wrong. The water tank is in correctly. And it's inconsistent when it leaks. That's the most disappointing part.

It is truly a beautiful coffee maker, I loved the whole bean grinder option with the pre-ground option, loved how much water it holds so you don't have to refill as often as say a Keurig, and loved the taste of the freshly brewed coffee. However, it leaks water all over the counters everytime I use it, therefore I am returning it. (The water leaks out from inside the unit) Very disappointed, I really was looking forward to using this for years to come.

I was unhappily surprised you have to dump out the grounds after every brew even when grinding. I would assume the grounds after grinding the beans would go to another chamber but they actually fill up the basket. So if you want to make a cup for yourself and one fo your partner you have to dump out the filter every time!! Also the bold brew is pretty weak and you have to switch out a filter every 60 days. Ugh, I'm returning this. I wanted to love this machine bc it is beautiful but it's a pain in the butt and bc you can brew a pot, using it is so much extra work.

While this coffee machine is aesthetically pleasing, I have several concerns regarding its functionality and design. The reusable basket frequently allows coffee grounds to overflow into the brewed coffee. This occurs with both the integrated grinder and when using pre-ground coffee. Additionally, the basket must be washed after every use and retains heat for a long period, making it difficult to prepare multiple cups without risk of injury; I have already burned my fingers attempting to brew a second cup. Furthermore, the coffee bean storage is shallow and requires refills every 3–4 cycles. Finally, while the drip tray is adjustable for smaller mugs, it does not accommodate travel mugs even when removed. On a positive note, the grinder is relatively quiet and the end-of-cycle signal is a helpful feature. The water reservoir is a convenient size for two people, and the touch buttons are clear and easy to use. The compact design also occupies minimal counter space Overall, it appears that the design prioritizes aesthetics over daily functionality.

I am returning to store. :/ beautiful pot and no complaints on the coffee it makes. But the back fill tank leaks. Initially it was only after it made a coffee. But now it's constantly. Anytime it is full. My husband works seven 12 hour days so the delay brew is an important feature that we're unable to use.

I've spent 30 minutes trying to make one 12 oz cup of coffee on a brand new machine and it still won't brew. The unit isn't broken. The design is the problem. I'm a usability designer and a tech-comfortable user, and this is one of the most confusing appliances I've used. There is no clear start button. You have to press things like “Brew Off” and “Grinder Off” in a way that makes no logical sense just to try to start brewing. Also important: this does NOT use K-cups. You can only use whole beans or pre-ground coffee, which is not obvious when purchasing. Looks nice, but making coffee should be simple. This is frustrating and overcomplicated. Returning immediately. Save yourself the time and buy something else.

The worst thing I have ever bought. It makes a mess!!! The grounds don't stay in the canister, they seep through the back and drip everywhere. There are always grounds in the coffee after it's brewed. When you take it apart to clean it, it makes even more of a mess. Do not buy this.

Brand new out of the box, never worked. Control screen error message saying 'fill H20' water reservoir was full. No solutions from manual repaired issue. I called CSR they did not have any other solutions that I haven't tried. Will return the coffee maker today, try another name brand.

There are several things that we dislike about this coffee maker. The coffee maker not only doesn't tell you when it's running low or out of water, it does not properly feed the beans into the grinder, so by your third cup of coffee and a full tray of beans still, you're getting nothing but watered down coffee tea. You have to clean the entire face plate behind the filter tray every use or it tells you it's full, not to mention if you leave that mess there, youll have mold all over it.. so youre wasting a paper towel with every cup. unless you want more work, wasted coffee and wasted resources, dont buy this coffee maker.
