New favorite! I make Chicken Tikka in my crock pot at least 3x a month. This Ben’s rice is their best yet. Addicted…so good - even on its own or with grilled veggies. WELL DONE BEN’S TEAM - so darned good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rice is incredibly easy to heat up in the microwave which makes it super practical for dinner. I think the flavor was close to the flavor of tikka masala, but not perfect. The texture was good and there a bits of chicken mixed in.

I bought this yesterday and as I am writing this, I'm eating it. It's a very good flavor for the rice. But for me to get a 5 stars review, you should upgrade it a notch. It tastes too much similar to a curry rice. You should try adding more cumin, smoked paprika, curcuma, chili powder, 7 grains grinded peppercorns and cayenne flake chilis. Also try to add a little more snap to the spicy flavor. I don't say like fire in the mouth but just a little bit more spicy. That would be perfect, but as I'm saying, it's very good already and will buy more for sure as it is, but I'll be very glad to see improvent of the recipe over time. Hope this reaches you well!

It's a very good product as it is, but needs a littble bit improvement on the flavor. I give 4 stars because in my opinion, it ressembles too much the curry flavor, not that I don't like curry, it's good to have curry in the masala flavor but it lacks in cumin, smoked paprika, curcuma and chili powder. Also you could add 7 mixed grinded peppercorns and some cayenne chili flakes. Also it lacks a little bit on the spicy side, you should defenitely try adding a little more snap just to say it's spicy. That would be a really good recipe. What are your thoughts?
