Assembly
Assembly was difficult because the screws are hard to tell apart and I had trouble getting the steps on. My husband suggested putting vegetable oil and they slid on easier.

Pool ladder for above ground pool.

VERY GOOD CHOICE!
I really like this ladder. It's tall enough to clear the edge of my above ground pool. The platform on top of the ladder makes it very simple to climb in and out of the pool. The price is affordable. I highly recommend this product.

Pool Ladder
The original pool pump system set up was a salt one. It caused the metal items of the pool to rust including the ladder. We have a deck surrounding our pool which my husband retrofitted to sit on the deck. So, when the ladder initially rusted to the point it was unusable we have the back part of the ladder to replace the damaged parts with. Unfortunately, we did not realize the damage the salt system was causing so the system did the same damage to the replacement parts. We have changed the pump system to chlorine tablets which has helped to slow the rusting of the metal parts. We needed to replace the ladder and were able to find it on Walmart.com where we order it and it came in within the time frame specified. The grandkids love the fact they can now get in the pool.

The ladder is plastic and when you climb in/out it is very unsturdy. You may want to add weights to the legs.I thought because it said made with steel it was what came when I purchased my pool 4 years ago. I also just bought this ladder not 2 months ago and the screws are already showing signs of rust. It will get you in and out of the pool, but be careful climbing and I would suggest removing the ladder each time you exit your pool since it does rust so quickly!

Hot rusty garbage
The screws completely rusted after 3 weeks in the pool. Legs are also rusting already, save your money and go with tried and true Intex brand
