Better Homes & Gardens Folding Tabletop Ironing Board, Off-White Check

The cover is attractive, light color, simple design, and good texture. Instructions were a little confusing both when opening and closing. After I actually did both, it opened and closed easily --about one minute or less. I really like the open size. As a quilter and dressmaker, it has proved very useful. The padding is just right. Everything that I tried looked perfect. The iron holder was not handy for me. I prefer to rest an iron on its heel, especially when using steam. Putting it on its heel on this was very precarious. I used it for pieces being worked on. There is ample space to rest an iron on the board. The board is actually very sturdy. When folded, it takes up very little space. It fits in my quilt bag with items needed for sit and sew meetings. It will be great for retreats. I would also recommend it for college students, people in small living conditions, or any not needing a big, regular sized board.

This ironing board is AMAZING!! My laundry room is a bit small, so this is the perfect item to have. Pros: foldable, great for small space, has an additional container to leave the iron on it, soft, can be placed on top of a table, light and super easy to work fold and put away. Cannot find any cons. Overall I recommend and will be using it daily!!

I have to say that when I received this I wasn't expecting it to be of such good quality at this price point. I was pleasantly surprised . It doesn't take up much room at all and it folds in half for travel or storage ! Nice thick padding and rubber stoppers on the legs keep it stationary while pressing . I'm always in a rush so this little ironing board has made my dressing routine a lot faster ! If anything is wrinkled I just quickly press the wrinkles and I'm done. This ironing board would be perfect for dorms, apartments , craft and sewing rooms. That's where I'm using mine right now . Great product at a fantastic price . I'm throwing my old one in the trash .

This folding ironing board is pretty good! I do not iron much anymore, but it saves space. The cover is padded and cotton. The legs are pretty sturdy too. When the ironing board is folded it is about 16". When you are ready to use it, you have space for your iron, so you do not to put your iron on the table or counter top. The dimensions are 31x7x12, when opened. But because I have not used the ironing board very long, the pen you use is hard to pull out, but I am sure with more use it will be easier to pull out. When the ironing board is folded, its about 16" long. I am very happy I have it and highly recommend it for everybody!

I was very pleased to get this smaller sized ironing board. I am an avid sewer who sews every day for about 2 hours. My old ironing board took up a lot of space in the room. I find that I need to iron several items while I make them every day. The board came completely assembled. I like the soft cushion of the checkered cover and the padding underneath. The board is quite light and can be easily moved to a different spot. Now that the old board is gone I have more usable space in the room. For those that like to go on cruises this handy small ironing board can freshen up your clothes after being packed away. Getting this for a new college student who is in the dorm would welcomed.

I am sorry that I am late in getting this review written, I thought I had sent it in but saw today that I must have deleted it by mistake. Let me tell you what a great product this is. Firstly, it stores just about everything, and if you travel it goes right into your suitcase. Secondly, it has helped me get over most of what I call the drudgery of ironing. I can setup the Better Homes & Gardens Folding Tabletop Ironing Board, Checked Cover. and have just about finished pressing my first item in the time it takes me to set up my standard iron board. Also, my cat does not find it a big toy to climb up on and lay down on every time I stop to hang a finished item up and out of the way...I have really had some close calls with that issue. In closing you must know that with a damp cloth it is like new every time. I have had no stains at all, and I do use a very hot setting for some items and starch, but no stains. In closing I did not receive the Mainstays 18 pk Jumbo Clothespins but am looking forward to it.

I got this ironing board to use in my camper and while traveling and staying at airb&b type places that don't have ironing boards. No I don't plan on ironing everything I wear, but sometimes stuff gets pretty wrinkled. This folding ironing board is better made than I expected. It's well padded and a good size, nothing like those flimsy ones of the past! It has a holder for the iron but I will probably just use the table/counter that I set the ironing board on. One thing you need to know when folding it in half that it doesn't tell you in the instructions-you have to snap the legs back into the single snap BEFORE you pull the pin to release it in the middle. I had a little trouble pushing the iron rest back in because it catches on the board and the cover so since I won't use it anyway, I'll just leave it pushed in. The way the legs fold and unfold is genius! When folded this ironing board won't take up hardly any room and I'll be glad to have it on trips. Would also be super great for a college dorm room!

This foldable table measures 32 inches when fully extended and 16 inches when folded. It is about 12 inches wide at its widest section. When extended in ironing position, it adds another 6 inches wire extension to rest the iron on it and its legs keeps it about 8 inches off the floor. The table is cushioned and comes with a removable cover. When folded is small enough to fit in a grocery bag. It is great for people living in a tight apartment space or students in a dormitory. It folds easily and sufficiently sturdy for a light ironing. I recommend it for light use and those whose space don't allow full size ironing table.

Living in an RV, ironing isn't a priority. But there are times when a dedicated ironing set-up is the only way to go. Patches, seams, that tie that's been balled up in a box somewhere... This BH&G folding ironing board is well done for those kinds of jobs. At 31 inches long, there's plenty of working room and the slide-out iron holder is quite a handy feature. The cover is smooth and the folding split is noticeable but not distracting. It's strongest points are over the legs if you need to add a little pressure. The legs snap in solidly both for use and storage. There is a locking pin that only works when open. And that is the first of only 2 caveats I have. It would be nice to be able to lock it shut. But I guess that means you're free to devise your own method. The iron holder is made of thick wire and so only able to place the iron flat..no problem. But it does catch on the cover sliding in and needs to be directed around the legs as well when sliding in. Though I don't use it every day or maybe even every week, it does make the job easier... I mean...why improvise when you can use the BH&G folding board for the real thing?

So disappointed I could have really used this table top folding ironing board. As u can c from the picture the legs r not even to sit evenly on the table. Also the frame attached to the legs is loose and does not snap securely to the underneath support. The instruction sheet was completely incomprehensible. It is a perfect size for a table top but dangerous.
