This hot HOT sauce is a go-to for hot, tangy sauce. First time for a NEW sauce I decided to try it. well worth a wait. Sweet, then hot. Will go extremely well with southern cuisine and Asian. Big WOW compared to most on the market. Do give it a try. Not overpriced like so many on the market nowadays.
i love the product. how it tasted and the spiciness. my only complaint is about the delivery. I have my instructions to place my package behind the post in my front porch to avoid attracting attention but it continues to drop it in front of my doorstep.
In all fairness, it is called "Gochujang Sauce," and it is fantastic. If you're expecting this to taste just like Gochujang, it doesn't. It is delicous. It's smoky, sweet and spicy. It's a fantastic dipping sauce for chicken, fish and even on a burger. I took the risk and tried it. No regrets!
I like using gochuchang in my ordinary dishes. it's got a nice mellow flavor that doesn't overwhelm your sauces. I was expecting a paste but I thought I was being goofed. I still tried it and was surprised how tasty and it's got potential. This is very mild so it's not going to satisfy a heat chaser but it's flexible enough to add a nice twist to your every day dishes, a little bit more Korean bbq.. I've used it as a condiment on my rice with tuna and veggies, Mac and cheese, and as an addition to my stir fry sauce. I am considering trying it in my one pot pasta. I will buy it again when I run out
This is my first time working with this type of sauce, but I've enjoyed plenty over the years in various dishes at restaurants. What immediately hit me when I tasted it out of the bottle is how tangy it was. It's also pretty spicy, but not so much as to be painful. It seemed like it was very easy to overpower the other flavors while trying various mixes. However, after playing with it like this for awhile, I tried baking some of it onto some chicken wings. That was definitely the secret, the tangy flavor mellowed some and the other flavors melded in with it beautifully, My Asian/Buffalo fusion wings (for lack of a better name for them) were absolutely delicious. I can't wait to make them again.
Delicious! I never heard of this sauce / salad dressing until I found it in complete salad mixes. It's very good, I highly recommend it, spicy, but not too spicy. Also a nice sweet taste.
Better Goods Gochujang Sauce 12.5oz. Is great it has a hint of sweetness and the spice has just the right amount of kick to it and it tastes great on rice I highly recommend this product!!
this not anywhere close to the gochujang paste but rather a sauce with the same flavour profile. it's good for using as a sauce but you'll have to use most of it if you want the same level of flavor. it's a sauce so it also releases a lot of water unlike a paste.
I absolutely love this item! From the moment I started using it, I knew it was exactly what I needed. The quality exceeded my expectations, and it works perfectly for what I bought it for. It's made such a positive difference in my daily routine, and I genuinely couldn't be happier with my purchase. I'm so glad I found this — it feels like it was meant for me!
It's not gochujang so don't just trust the name. It's too sweet, has soy sauce in it (careful for allergies) and contains a ton of stuff that you wouldn't find in gochujang. Not spicy at all, doesn't taste anything how it's supposed to. I'm sure it's fine as a sauce for other things, but I wouldn't use it in any recipes calling for gochujang.
