Great for salads They are a nice flavor and small enough to not be too noticed. I only use them on salads.

I was running low on sesame seeds.I did not know Walmart carried it with their Great Value private label .I use it to make sesame noodles with stir fry vegetables.I am always glad I can depend on Walmart for all my grocery needs with delivery service. Thank you for always being their when I need many items delivered to my residence.

I bought these to use in bread baking. I liked that they were very light in color and would stand up to baking without over-cooking. Sesame seed can turn rancid quickly on the shelf, but these tasted fresh and not a bit stale. Since I needed a lot of them for my loaves, I appreciate the reasonable price. I would buy these again for baking and possibly for use in homemade tahini.

excellent quality sesame seeds, very mild flavor, great for the person who wants the benefit of eating sesame seeds (actually good for you) without the overwhelming flavor sesame seeds can have. For me I love the flavor, especially with fish and vegetables, along with roasted sesame seed oil, perfection

as I am a Asian, I was looking for so long this sasami seed, but, didn't have time to go speciality store.. And ,Find out some Walmart's store carry-on.. I ordered, the same day delivered. But, it is raw seed, you should not eating raw sasami seed, So I carefully roasted, Tada~~~~ smells a wonderful and tastes better, furthermore will last longer, because it cooked. I made a sushi for myself, I wish , I would taken picture before, eaten... it was beautiful looking and tasted better, with sasami seed sprinkles.

I like that it's mild but add to flavor of baked goods, granola and salads. It's also make any dish look pretty.

I got these for my foray into Thai and Indonesian and Chinese cooking. Recipes call for sesame seeds or toasted sesame seeds.

the price is great but alone or even toasted there is no flavor whatsoever so no matter what the price it's not worth it.

We received the bottle of Great Value Sesame Seeds on 4/23/25. The expiration date on the container is February 1, 2026. We received an expired product.

I hate to ever leave negative reviews, but need shoppers to know that my brand new, freshly-opened bottle of these sesame seeds tasty moldy without a doubt. I ignored the off smell when I opened the container, but unfortunately sprinkled many of them on my dinner before realizing this. Maybe the seal being puffy should have been my first clue.... luckily, I was able to bury the seeds in my meal, toss the rest, and Walmart refunded me for it. The odd thing is that the "best by" date was not until December 2024! Live and learn, now I get to shop for new seeds.
