Betty Crocker(tm) Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix

Was a breeze to make these lovely, crispy and delicious cookies!!( I use parchment paper on large pizza pans).....They are also great with added chopped nuts and a little peanut butter. (I used 2 Tb. and subtracted same amt. of margarine) I couldn't believe how saturated it is with chocolate chips!! My only wish is they would use UNBLEACHED flour!!!!!

Look at what I found! Its right here in the written directions for making the cookies!!!!! Betty's Tip: To prepare with vegetable oil, make dough using 1/3 cup oil, 2 tablespoons water and 1 egg. Now I will make my cookes!!! Hope this helps you too!!

Is it just the butter and egg that gets added or do you use the water and vegetable oil too? Because it shows on 1 stick of butter and 1 egg and the ingredients, but then to the right shows how to make with vegetable oil. Does that mean the vegetable oil and water is optional? Or just the vegetable oil?

What happened to the Betty Crocker Chocolate Chip Cookie mix? I just made these for a Super Bowl party tomorrow and they are so dark!!! I'm afraid to take them!! Here is a photo of a batch I made last week with the same mix (I thought) Same ingredients on the package so I'm not at all sure what happened!! Is it just me? I wish I could share the photo of them side by side!! Both are within the expiration date, but today they are dark like chocolate batter!! Last weeks were just like always light golden color!!Betty Crocker ...What's happened to your recipe????

I ordered the 21oz packages of chocolate chip cookie mix I received 17.5 ounces

I have been a Betty Crocker fan for 5 decades (I'm 73 years old). I just bought 2 packages of BC CC cookies. They were awful. They did not mix correctly, they did not bake correctly. Using the instructions, they came out like rocks. I tried the second box. I added more butter than on the package and they still came out bad. They were still so dry. Good way to break a thriving business!! I will not buy BC anything any more. I'm so disappointed.

Holiday treat - instead of using butter, add a can of pumpkin and some cinnamon. Bake like brownies. They make the most incredible pumpkin blondies. Perfect for the holidays. They are also much more healthy.

These cookies suck! As a pregnant person with cravings that's been craving cookies all week, I went and got a package of the mix and baked it according to the instructions on the back. These cookies came out like muffins! They were not soft and chewy, they were dense and dry and NOT AT ALL like the traditional Cookie

Dry Dry Dry ! There is way more cookie dough mix than brownie mix. Directions say put 3 rows of 3 but there is so much more left over and the balls of cookie dough would haveto be gigantic in order to put in to brownie mix. More brownie, less cookie would be better!
