This is the 3rd juicer of this brand that I've purchased and given as gifts. I had a Jack Lelane juicer, and it was such a drag to take it apart, clean it and have it take up a large amount of counter space. When I was complaining to my son about it, he mentioned having purchased this little juicer and how he liked it; and the cost was $30! It's a great machine to start your juicing journey on. If you decide you don't want to continue juicing, or only juice occasionally, it's great, too, because you don't feel like you've wasted a bunch of money by purchasing a $100+ machine, that sits around because you've decided you don't want to juice anymore!
Purchased this juicer for my son for Christmas. He said he loves it. I purchase the jack L. Because this one was out of stock instore. This is perfect for anyone who would love to benefit from juicing while on a budget. PSA expensive does not mean the best. I recommend this juicer. For easy clean place a grocery sack in the pulp shoot. Great invest for a low price.
For what I paid for this juicer, it performs beyond my expectations. Looking at previous negative comments, people need to realize this is a 35.00 juicer, not a 500.00 juicer.
For the price, this item is a steal. I didn't have leaking or cleaning problems, just remember to rinse it off and scrub the colander part of the spinner immediately after use. Don't bother trying to scrub the actual blades. If you plan on using this juicer for A LOT of leafy greens, I would recommend not getting a centrifugal juicer and instead getting something a little more expensive, otherwise, you'll end up running them through the machine more than once. Note that some leafy greens, such as spinach, are much easier to juice than others, such as kale. Also note that centrifugal juicers are known for making foaming juices and it has been my experience that this one proves that wrong.
I LOVVVEEEEE THIS JUICER. perfect size fore me, since I'm the only one who juices. I was a bit worried about getting it based on some other reviews, but I'm glad I did. I use it everyday and I fall in love with it every time. Does take a little long to cut up every fruit but, for something at this price i wouldn't expect it to be otherwise. Perfect for someone who is looking to buy their first juicer and wants to save money in case they decide its not for them. I would recommend to others. Happy customer.
I have had my juicer for about a month now. I have used it many times and I really like it. It only has 6 pieces to take apart and clean, which saves me time. The tube is a little thin, so some things you have to chop to fit, but that's no biggie. I would suggest cleaning immediately to prevent food from drying, which would make it more difficult to clean. The food grater is probably the toughest part to clean, but I find that if I ball up a piece of aluminum foil and scrub it under flowing water, that pretty much gets everything out of it without having to tear up your sponge.
My main problem is it took me weeks to find a place to put it!! i used it once last night, juiced a ginger root, pineapple, berries, and some other fruits for the hope of getting what I need to improve my eyes, which is the reason to buy a juicer in the first place. good value for the price, had one little problem: it tossed one piece of ginger; a 3" skin of the root, into the pulp section! but it did not fail under the first use!! surprisingly cleaned easily, I even managed to read the instructions, clean it and set it ujp for operation. please note i live alone, and am in wheelchair and a double amputee with neuropathy in my hands. ai managed to use the juicer despite these problems. i recommend it for buying and using.
I've read a lot of good and bad reviews concerning this juicer and I gambled to purchase it anyway. I'm a broke college student trying to maintain a healthy life and eat right and needed a juicer to do exactly what's it's supposed to do. Juice. It works wonders I tell you and it was cheap for my limited budget. Only problem is, you'll have to cut fruits and vegetables in smaller portions in order for them to properly fit and be juiced. It's a bit messy to clean but that's no problem for me. I'd recommend this juicer to anyone who's starting out juicing for the first time and has a budget to look after. This really is a good juicer. Love it. Will use it for however long it lasts!
Overall this is a good product. The only problem is that when juicing, being able to place big pieces into the hole elevates time. With this product, you have to cut the pieces into small pieces. For large amount of juicing (1 1/2 - 2 L), you have to clean the machine out after every group of fruit or vegetable that you use. The cost is cheap so the time has to be spent.
I was excited to get this juicer, as I have purchased Black and Decker kitchen appliances before and was very pleased. But the juicer did a good job the first 4 times I used it, then it made less and less juice with same produce. I honestly can squeeze more juice by hand or use a blender. I am really disappointed
