BLACK+DECKER Hedge Trimmer, 22-Inch, BEHT350FF

My husband has always used this brand and size trimmer. We have a lot of shrubs around our house and around another building, as well as around several pecan trees. Our last ones lasted several years and the one before that did as well. He has only had a couple in all these years. He bought another brand thinking it would be a great brand at another walk-in retailer last winter. Bad buy because this spring when he used it for the first time it went out in. the middle of the first job . We paid twice this for the other brand. We bought this, and although it looks a little different, it has the same specs and operated just like his previous ones this brand. We should have known to stick with what is tried and true.

I returned a Craftsman and opted for this one instead and I was happy I did. More expensive but worth it for the ease of use. Also longer and more powerful.

The previous question asked about battery life . . . HaHa . . . No battery. IT's connected to the outlet! And it will last all day and be ready when ever you are!

Wasn't sure what to expect from the Black and Decker brand nowadays, but this more than met my needs. It was easy to assemble and functioned quietly and smoothly. It made trimming all my bushes much quicker and easier, can't even consider it a chore anymore!

This is my second purchase of this trimmer. I got this about 15 years ago and it still works great for cutting light andedium sized shrubbery. This also cuts through extension cords very well lol! I've basically done zero maintenance on this and it still works wonderfully. As it's a corded version, it's fairly light which is nice. This also has a nice reach to it. As I'm getting it a second time, I do strongly recommend it!

It was delivered promptly and was in excellent condition. The blades are sharp so be a little careful. It trimmed my hedges flawlessly and came close to cutting like butter. It is balanced and can be handled with one hand if necessary. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

I wanted an electric hedge trimmer because I need one that is not too heavy to hold as a female gardener in her 50s. This is perfect for trimming weeping trees, and bushes, too. Nothing fancy. Gets the job done without getting heavy in my arms or hands. That's all I needed. Fits the bill!

Overall good value. Would have liked not to have to assemble the handle and guard.
