BLACK+DECKER LSWV36 40V MAX* Lithium Cordless Sweeper/Vacuum

The B&D Electric Sweeper/Blower Vacuum is easy to use for debris cleanup, and doesn't require an electrical cord, which makes it all the more attractive to me when using it around my pool. The lithium battery is powerful and lasts a long time before it requires charging. I'm very impressed withy the technology that B&D has implemented. I would like to have a spare battery handy, just in case the one being used drains completely.

This blower/vac worked so well (for light use as it is intended for) that it has created a monster - my wife now goes around the whole yard cleaning. The unit is powerful enough to pick up pine needles and even dried corn husk that has blown in from the fields around us. The only complaint my wife has is the catch bag could be bigger but that would also make the unit much heavier to handle when full. The 40v battery gives good power to run the machine for well over an hour on high and charges quickly. All-in-all great machine looking forward to years of use.

My 4 star rating comes with the caveat that this is for people who prefer ongoing maintenance to periodic big jobs. You can't just bury the vacuum nozzle in a pile of leaves and get any results. Having said that, the sweeper, especially, is great for staying on top of leaves. When using the vacuum, if you hover just over the leaves, it works just fine. In any configuration it's great when you don't have much time and don't want to mess with gas or extension cords. I'm very satisfied with the power and performance.

Love how compact this unit is. Switching from blower to vac is fairly simple. Well balanced, light weight, and easy to operate. Like most things that are compact it lags a little in power, but performs as expected. Vacuums up smaller leaves very well, has problems with larger ones, such as cottonwood leaves. Battery dies faster than I had hoped. Overall this is great for smaller jobs, if you plan on doing an entire yard with this you will be disappointed. Works great for what it was made for.

Works ok, fine for driveway and sidewalks... Not powerful enough to blow leaves off the grass... And heaven forbid if the leaves/ grass is wet :) wish I bought a more powerful unit.

Walmart's vendor sent me the wrong item. I ordered a cordless Black and Decker Vacuum/Blower. I received a corded Black and Decker Blower. Returned to store for refund. Also, Walmart's customer service automated system needs some improvement. Made three calls trying to convince the automated voice that I needed to speak to a real person. Finally, a lady came on the phone and was a very great help to me, giving me the return instructions and emailing me the appropriate paperwork to return wrong item to local store for credit.

i don't know if i like the machine because it came with a bad battery.i tried to charge it and it's flashing the code for a bad battery what do i do about this

Does not have enough power.takes twice the time to blow leaves.stop up often when using vac mode.
