Blue Dragon Thai Sweet Chili Sauce, 10.5 oz

Usually I buy the cheapest but decided to try this one which was a little more...OMGosh...so much better. Has a tiny tasty hit of chili and sweet is there but not overwhelming-slap-you-in-your-face-sugar-hit. Also loves more of a liquid texture and not a clump of gel texture.

I really like this sweet chili sauce! It has a very nice flavor profile, it starts out sweet with the flavor of garlic and adds a little chili kick and aftertaste. The spice is just the right amount to not over power the flavor, it complements the sweetness quite well.

Today I tried this "Thai Sweet Chili Sauce" for the first time. Upon my first taste, I immediately tasted the sweetness of the sauce. The sweetness was followed by a subtle heat. The heat was good enough to take a few more bites without it hindering the sweetness. This sauce is perfect for dipping. I will also like to try it as a topper on fried rice, eggs, or even some chips!

This sauce is delicious! The first taste is surprising-it has a quick kick that makes you think it'll be too hot, but it fades fast and leaves a wonderful sweet and tangy flavor. It's perfect with spring rolls and so many other dishes. I also love that the ingredients are simple and clean, so even my husband with multiple allergies can enjoy it. Definitely a favorite in our house!

I tried this thai sweet chili sauce with my eggrolls and it was delicious but warning it is pretty spicy if you're not used to spice. I love spicy food so it was perfect for me but my mom tried it and she couldn't handle it. But I would personally buy it again for myself.

Blue Dragon Thai Sweet Chili Sauce strikes a zesty balance of sweet and spicy flavor. It delivers tremendous flavor on chicken nuggets, burgers, brats, and crackers. I even put some on a potato salad to make it more tasty. This is now my first choice in sauces.

This Thai sweet chili sauce was actually delicious!! The sauce has a strong garlic flavor, right off the bat, which I LOVE!! After the "garlic punch", the spice from the chili provides a nice heat. Not super spicy but compliments the garlic. I wished it was a bit sweeter, in my opinion. I thought to myself "hey, this would go great with over some egg rolls". (Which I didn't have) However, after tasting the product by itself, I ended up putting it over my BBQ fries and oh my goodness!!! DELICIOUS!! I want to order some egg rolls tomorrow, just so I can enjoy this sauce again.

Ok, I am definitely not a stranger to spicy food... but this is a lot hotter than I thought it would be. The garlic flavor almost doesn't come through at all. I do like the sauce overall, but I thought it would be more of a balance of sweet and spice. I used it on rice and veggies, which tamed it just enough to redeem it overall. I definitely don't recommend it for kids or people that don't regularly eat hot mustard or wasabi, but if heat is the way to your heart you'll probably love this.

Blue Dragon Thai Sweet Chili Sauce has a nice balance of sweetness and mild heat, which I liked, and it worked well as a dipping sauce for spring rolls. I appreciated the visible chili flakes and the slightly thick texture. However, I found it a bit too sweet for my taste and would've preferred a stronger garlic or vinegar kick to balance it out.
