Bob Mills GF All Purpose Flour

Michele February 17, 2026

Great for all purpose baking with natursl grain. Doesn't include Zantham gum and thickens sauces and gravy too!

Good substitute for wheat flour.

It has a raw Bean flavor, but I don't notice it in baked goods. It makes good corn bread and banana bread.

Makes moist muffins

Anonymous May 25, 2020

I'd used this flour in the past to make banana chocolate chip muffins. A few weeks ago I made the recipe with another brand GF flour, and we found the muffins to be dry and crumbly. I just made them again with Bob's Red Mill, and it made quite a difference. The muffins were moist and stuck together well.

Good Stuff

Anonymous October 28, 2020

I had read before that bean-based GF flours can be grainy in the final product, but we have used this successfully in cakes, frying foods, and pretty much everything we needed flour for except thickening (I suggest a starch). I highly recommend this, and wish our local stores would carry it but I'm happy to purchase a case because it works great. It will change your cooking times a bit, so it will take some experimentation in your favorite recipes.

Gluten Free God Send

Anonymous August 20, 2021

Nothing compares to the sheer perfection that is this baking flour! All the time spent trying to create gluten free foods that could bring joy to my customers and I finally found the product that can do the job. I can never than you enough for this flour! It's a life-saver!

Been using this for 15 years!

Anonymous July 12, 2018

I love this blend because it's a gluten free flour without rice, corn or quinoa. I feel great about making sweets with bean flour as to lower the glycemic index. I've tried replacing SO MANY recipes calling for all-purpose using this flour. It works excellent in most everything, and even better than a grain based one would in my opinion. In some recipes it takes a day for a slight grittiness to soften up. Another way to do this is to make your batter a day ahead of time. You cannot undercook this flour or taste the raw batter as it is bitter until fully cooked. Sometimes you will need a few more minutes than indicated in order to fully cook. It does produce a denser outcome than one might prefer but I love that I'm eating tons of fiber and protein instead of all carbs. This is the HOLY GRAIL of gluten-free baking folks!

Best gluten free mix out there!

Anonymous February 3, 2019

We've been using this flour for years. My husband is extremely sensitive to gluten and also rice. This is one of the few gluten free flour mixes that doesn't contain rice. We buy it in bulk because we go through so much of it. Please, BRM, don't ever stop making this!

Horrible product

Therese W May 17, 2018

My bread will not rise no matter how I tweek the recipe. Always comes out looking like a cow turd that's been balking in the desert for a week. I've now thrown out 4 loaves of bread because they where not palatable. Waist of money unless you like your bread to be a heavy brick.

All beans no flour

Bean hater December 12, 2025

This tastes like poor quality garbanzo beans. Not anything like flours

Horrible experience for me

ZinniaF November 23, 2022

I've tried to make their recipe for GF chocolate chip cookies twice now and both times the cookies completely spread out and it becomes a waste. I consider myself a professional at home baker, I follow the recipe to the T and they still come out horrible. Such a waste of money, very disappointed in this product.
