Bob's Red Mill, Gluten Free, Brown Sugar and Maple Flavored, Instant Oatmeal, 9.88 oz Carton Box, 8 Count

I made it with boiling water and let it sit for just a minute because I like my oatmeal to have a "bite" to it (not mushy) and it is delicious! It tastes like comfort food.

I have tried these instant oatmeal packages from other companies and I wasn't impressed as they appeared and tasted like instant. However these instant packets from Bob's Red Mill not only are delicious but the texture seems like you cooked the oatmeal in a pan on the stove.

I just love this oatmeal I am diabetic, and you wouldn't catch me dead adding brown sugar and maple syrup to my oatmeal. Which is why this oatmeal is so amazing. With only 6 grams of sugar (less than most low-sugar cereals), it is mouthwateringly sweet without being too sweet. I can eat it! And the flavors go with everything I might want to add.

This is my husbands favorite. Being microwavable is a big plus for our busy mornings. He likes the added flaxseed ... and after adding almond milk, blueberries and a sliced banana he feels good about the nutrition value of such a delicious, fast and easy breakfast. It is a winner in our household.

Not a big fan of brown sugar and maple combos usually as they are too sweet for my taste. This was the perfect combination of maple flavor and hint of sweetness with the oats. I also appreciate the "instant" factor without a chemical aftertaste. Well done!

My (adult) daughter only likes oatmeal if it is packaged with brown sugar and maple, so we buy this for her. It is her favorite breakfast, and has to be the instant oatmeal with brown sugar and maple - she loves the flavor. Easy to make filling breakfast. Very quick according to package instructions.

The best oatmeal, in my opinion. I have this one or the apple cinnamon for breakfast most mornings (Bob's cranberry almond granola on the other days). It's fresh, flavorful, ready in just a couple minutes. The only reason for docking one star is that, as far as I'm aware, this is the one Bob's product that just isn't available at all in the larger bulk bag containers, only in the small individually wrapped baggies. This creates a huge amount of packaging waste (see photo), especially since I just transfer them all to resealable dry goods containers for storage anyway. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE release these oatmeal flavors in the larger bags, just like all your other products come in. - from a loyal Bob's fan

I cooked this oatmeal on the stove for a few minutes, I thought it came out better than pouring the water over it and letting it stand.. I did add just a little bit more brown sugar and added half and half.. The flavor was great and I really enjoyed it! The individual package were very convenient. and made it easy..

This was a great, quick alternative to steel cut oats, definitely appreciated on a busy morning. I added some additional cinnamon and milk for a stronger flavor and richer texture. Overall, a quality product that is consistent with the many quality Bob's products I have purchased over the years.

I hurried moments, I Love BRM Instant Oatmeal over the major competitor, however I have to agree with other commenters on the salt content being too high (and I LOVE SALT!). To combat the saltiness, you can add more sugar, but then you've just killed the calorie count. If BRM would consider cutting the salt 50-75%, I think it would be perfect.
