We love the muffins and the cornbread

We love The GF cornbread. We make it in a pan, in cupcakes, in mini cupcakes, for breading meats, spiced up with cheese, mild chilies and corn, at home, camping, and potlucks...You can't tell the difference from non GF. It is a godsend for my gluten sensitive husband.

I've consistently turned out skillets full of delicious cornbread w this mix. I've found that it behaves best in smaller batches, so I halve the recipe and cook it in a smaller, oiled cast-iron skillet that's been pre-warmed at a higher temp (450°F is what works for me) before turning it down to bake at the suggested 375°.) I like the batter to sizzle as it's going into the small amt of hot oil, gives the pone a nice crispy crust. I add salt, pepper, and a dash each of powdered garlic, cumin, and smoked paprika to the recipe, and I've never had anyone complain!

Bob's Red Mill gluten free cornbread mix is delicious! I've been enjoying it for years. Lately due to dietary restrictions, I substitute 1/2 cup applesauce instead of the oil or butter, and I use plant based “milk” and also egg-substitute. It's still delicious, though with a little different texture. I bake the cornbread in my bread maker. It freezes well, and I enjoy it with my coffee!

Came out raw and did for recommended time and exact measurements and super flavorless.

If you say you're going to pay for free shipping on product when you pay 96.00 plus dollars for grocery pickup you should keep your promise that happened once before and I over looked it but this time shipping was more than the product !
