Bob's Red Mill- Golden Couscous, 24 ounce

I add a can of chick peas & instead of throwing away the liquid from the chick peas, I add the chick liquid in place of some of the water (water is 1 1/4 cup - add chick liquid and then the rest in water) adds more flavor. Makes a great side dish meal with added fiber. Tried several brands of couscous & I now stick with Bob's Red Mill brand...much better quality & taste!

Bob's Red Mill Golden Couscous was a real discovery and I am using it a lot, not only as breakfast cereal, but also for lunch, mixed with cooked or raw vegetables, e.g Zucchini, Celery, Carrots, Tomatoes, Spinach etc and spices, eg. Majoram, Thyme, Oregano, Basil etc. and of course Parsley. It is a nice change from rice, couscous and pasta and nutritious as well. Bon appetit!

Purchasing the 25lb bag, as it was the only option, required some wrangling to not store it in the bag - but getting it into jars makes for a nice pre-measured amount especially when one is rationing during these unusual times. Very tasty. Very clean. Enjoyed by both adults and children.

Very versatile and convenience to make. My husband and I love it, goes with any meal you make. You can put any topping you like on it. Sometimes I will just eat it with nothing on it. Has a nice flavor. I give a 5 star. This is a very good product. Debbie and Gary Myer

I've tried other couscous brands in the store, and the flavor of those is blah. Bob' couscous has the grain flavor we enjoy, and it pairs well with all my recipes. That's why I buy a case of it at a time!

This couscous is smooth and cooks up quick and fluffy! I chilled it and blended it with Bobs Red Mills Lima Beans and made a tabouleh style chilled salad. Great with kale and full of protein. Vegan delight!

Very tasty, quick, & easy! I sauteed fresh mushrooms, garlic, zucchini, onions in a small amount of butter & olive oil. Add the couscous & desired amount of broth. Perfect every single time! Nutritious & very delicious!

Like other Bob's Red Mill products, VERY high quality. I just add a bit of butter, salt, pepper and garlic powder and a touch of Indonesian spice hot sauce (sambal) and voila....there is the Daniel diet dish.

Not being an expert on couscous, I'm not sure how valuable my insight is. It was pleasant to work with, easy to cook, and tasted good! I made a Moroccan side dish.

This is my second time buying an unexpired bag of Bob's Red Mill golden cousous from the supermarket. It is basically inedible. Smelled odd right out of the bag, like it sat in the warehouse for years, but i decided to give it a try, thinking maybe i'm imagining it. Yuck. When cooked it smells even worse - totally stinky and rancid. Threw it away and bought another bag about a year later. Strike two. I've had 5-year buckwheat from my pantry smell better. Will never buy this cousous again, and now i'm wondering what other products from this company are just plain old. The expiration date is useless - who knows how long products have been sitting around before being bagged. Never again.
