This is my favorite whole wheat flour, by far. I used to buy King Arthur, but once Bob's Red Mill was available in local stores, I realized how much fresher it was. My last bags have been directly from the mill, as there's no whole-grain Bob's Red Mill to be had. Glad to get in via online order.

This flour is just right. I make every baked thing under the sun with it, from pancakes to pasta, and I never get tired of its rich wheaty flavor. Sometimes, I do cut it with some white flour, or add some gluten to it, to alter the texture of the final product as needed, but usually I enjoy it as is, and prepared as a simple bread. I eat a low fat whole food vegan diet, and Dr. John McDougall is right, if you keep the fat very low and the starch high, a person will be lean, strong, and healthy. So don't fear the carbs, just don't ever add fats or animal foods to it. Products like this flour, and lots of other great foods to be found on this website will support your quest for good long term health, AND taste great!

I make whole wheat banana nut muffins regularly for breakfast. My store was totally out of my usual brand, and I turned to Red Mill for help, having used other products and having found them to be very good. And the whole wheat flour totally met my expectations. My muffins were perfect! And before I got to try the product I got to see that the customer service provided by Red Mill was the best I have ever seen.

I loved this product the o my reason I gave it 4 stars was because the flour bag had a small leak.

I have been buying this for years, and am happy with the flour. Recently it changed from plastic to paper packaging - now my online orders from the same same vendor I've used for years, come leaking and sometimes ripped due to the new packaging. The paper punctures too easily and the roll at the top doesn't stay together well enough. Unfortunately, I keep having to return it and am changing brands solely due to the packaging.

The flour itself is great, but since the description says "Case of 4" I expected to get four five pound bags and I only got one.

Did not receive 4 bags as described only 1. The seller was unresponsive WALMART customer service was very helpful though and it has been resolved.
