Brinks 57mm 4-Digit Resettable Steel Combination Padlock with 1in Shackle and Shrouded Guard

On the advice of my contractor to purchase this type of lock (because it is hard to cut with bolt cutters), I initially bought 2 for the doors on our garage. Easy to use (open/close) and hold up in all kinds of weather. I just purchased 2 more to replace the locks on our fence gates.

I've always had Brink's locks, and they've held up well. I bought this particular one for my horse trailer and love that I select a custom number I won't forget. Not having to worry about having the Key when I haul it with multiple trucks is a game changer for me! 100% reccommend this lock.

Looks nice. Make sure to follow the setting instructions included m. Bc there is no ‘undoing' what's been done..The instructions are included and are very straightforward.

I like the simplicity of this lock as well as the ability to reset it with your own combination code. Would purchase again.

Heavy duty lock that does what it's supposed to! I like the guards it has on it so it's harder for people to cut.

IT was exactly what I wanted

Easy to turn dials and I like the guard-- it may slow down thieves using bolt cutters. I don't like that you have to have your numbers lined up in order to close the lock. Other locks I've had you can just snap it closed regardless of what numbers are in line. But this one has to have your code/numbers lined up in order to close the lock; you have to insert the clasp and then turn the numbers to keep it closed. Too clumsy and unnecessary. Otherwise, adequate lock so far.

Couldn't use was locked in the open position and code was not what was on the box and resetting didn't work. Now it's a paperweight.

I purchased this lock. Its trash dont buy! The slot on the bottom thats used to reset the pad combination can be reset by anybody with a flat head screwdriver. Stupid design for Brinks Security Brand. Would give 0 Stars but its not an option.
