No good for making hummus but these are high protein and fiber. I add some chopped up hot dogs and cheese for my brown rice. White rice and white bread are both nutritional blanks.

The nutritional benefits are great. I love chickpeas and this is a great way to eat them. The sauce has a great flavor and texture. I use them as a side dish with rice or pasta or really anything. I have had them with a salad or wrapped in a tortilla with Mexican food. They are so tasty that I can eat them cold and straight out of the can!

I added chicken, onion, seasonings, tomatoes, spinach and rustic Tuscany beans. These chickpeas are in a sauce with seasonings thats flavorful but not overpowering or salty. I added them as an ingredients but these will also be good as a side dish.

The bold yet mellow sauce and al dente chickpeas made it a flavorful and filling meal that can be served hot or prepared ahead of time, refrigerated, and served cold. Add to soups, stews, pasta and rice dishes, salads, anytime you want an extra boost of flavor.

I eat lots of chicpeas, but did not care for these. Chickpeas seemed larger than plain ones and texture was off! I'll stick to the plain ones and season them myself!
