I bought this cold brew coffee maker because I'm a fiend for iced mochas in the summer, but the pods of iced mocha I was buying were loaded with sugar. I was looking for a sugar free solution and this is it! It's really easy to do - just put the coffee in the filter thing, add the water, and pop it in the fridge. I added this to my nighttime routine and I wake up to my coffee for the day all ready to go, and I just pour it over ice and splash in some sugar-free mocha syrup - perfect! My only criticism is that calling it “34 ounces” is misleading. Technically the pitcher could hold 34 ounces of liquid if you were to just fill it with liquid, but because you're inserting the filter thing and it's filled with coffee grounds, that takes up tons of space so the amount of coffee it makes is far less than 34 ounces. My only other note is that the amount of coffee grounds they tell you to use seemed to me to be excessive, but I went forward as prescribed, and the resulting coffee was insanely strong and gross. I played around a bit over the next few days and finally found the right ratio and it was FAR less than the suggestion, but of course, it's a matter of personal taste. Just be prepared to experiment a few times before you find your sweet spot!
