Not a raisin %26 not well known
This is an old-fashioned hard to find dried fruit. A little different than raisins, I use it for mince pies %26 Christmas cakes. Worth giving it a try for baking-

Fermented product should never have been shipped.
I bought 2 bags of these currants. Both bags were completely inflated upon delivery. I suspect that they had begun to ferment and these should never have been sent out in this condition.
