I don't know why I thought I was getting two dumbells, but it was only one. I bought them as part of my work out program to tone up my arms and shoulders. I have a shoulder injury, so I need to be careful not to aggravate it. This is a nice step up from the 5 pound dumbbell. The grip is comfortable amd fits nicely in my hand. I like that these weights are different colors for different weights, so no mixing them up.
The rubberized coating is solid/well done and the diameter of the grip is good for men or women. The color is maybe a turn off for some men but, hey, you won’t lose them in a group excercise class so I’ll give it a pass. Honestly, I bought them as a gift for my wife but they are better size-wize than the bulky ones I purchased years ago, I may get a pair for myself.
These are tiny! And the ends ("heads") looked smaller to me in real life than they did in the picture. My hands are wider than they are! They do seem to be good quality. I wanted to have a full set of weights from 1%23 through 25%23, though 1%23 through 4%23 are baby weights for me.
Very quick shipping door to door. The 3 lb weights are easy to hold, and the color is exactly what I ordered (bright orange, so that I can see them and not trip over them if I forget them on the floor). I lost considerable muscle mass over the summer and fall of 2025 due to a health issue, and I'm well enough now to start rebuilding my 62 yo body, and the 3 lb weights are an easy starting point for basic arm work. The product is as described. I have no complaints, and the price is right too!
I bought these to work on my arms during my workout. They are lightweight easy to use and the comfort in your grip is nice. The coating seems to be durable, but, I did just purchase so time will tell.
The weights are perfect. But when I received my order, the weights were two different colors. One was dark pink and the other magenta. Not a big deal but the colors are off.
I have been having physical therapy three times a week and need to build my strength up. The dumbbells ordered will help me get stronger. The grip is great and love the coating material.
I don't understand why neoprene weights are SO expensive, but given the price range out there, these are the best bang for my buck that I could find. The weights are a very nice quality with good grip to them, and they sit firmly when you set them down because of the hexagon shape. Overall I'm pleased because they're nice quality, however, I ordered two of the exact same ones, to have a pair of 10 lb dumbells, but they are two different shades of red; one is a classic red, and the other one is an orange/red color, furthermore, they both arrived dirty, and one of them even has a tiny crack to the neoprene. I don't think they were returns, because they both had the original labels wrapped around the bar portion. I think the dirtyness and wear was the result of sitting on a dusty shelf and people handling them in the store. No biggie, I'll clean them off, and they'll serve their purpose, but for the high price ($18 bucks EACH/$35.99 for the pair), they should match in color and should arrive boxed and clean. I would recommend picking them out in person, instead of ordering online.
I just had major surgery on my wrist and the surgeon and therapist said I'm far enough post op to start using a 2%23 weight. This weight, compared to the 2%23 weight at the physical therapy department, is easily, twice the weight. So much so that the therapist told me to not use it because it was more than 2%23. That's a risky label error.
Both of the weights were delivered today. They both were damaged. 1 had tears in the covering and the other had the cover completely off the bottom. Very disappointed in how the person picking my order would choose these for me.
