Charbroil Instant-Read Digital Thermometer, Black

This thermometer is really easy to use. I bought it for my husband but I have ended up using it way more than him (as I worry about thicker meats when I'm cooking and hate cutting the meat before it's ready). I hated digging through all of his grill stuff to find it, but it was worth looking. Anywho, he ended up buying me one to keep in my kitchen and I use it lots. We both love this thermometer and both of ours has held up really good over the past few years. The reason I am writing this review so many years later is because I learned something new about this thermometer the other day. Our Health thermometer died and I thought I had a temp so I used the grill thermometer on the "user" setting ( I thought it was kind of funny because the user was indeed taking their own temp). It read my body temp like a regular thermometer. When I went to the doctor she thought I may have a low thyroid, so she scheduled a test for me, but told me in the meantime I could take my temp first thing in the morning before I get out of bed for 4 days and that I needed to use a basal thermometer (which I didn't have) so I told her about my charbroil thermometer which she thought was a brilliant idea. Lol anyway it's a great thermometer for many reasons! That's all folks :)

I'm 68 but I've never used a digital meat thermometer before. This is very simple to use! I set it for PORK and knew exactly when it was ready to remove from the grill. The chops were moist and tender, and the taste was fantastic. I highly recommend this for beginners and professionals alike.

a little bit expensive but well worth it the only one I have found that beeps and you don't have to look at the digital display to know if you are at the right temperature

I enjoy using it,but, it's not waterproof. So after awhile it filled up inside and shorted my previous thermometer.

Saw this instant read thermometer & read reviews & decided to order it. We are enjoying it a lot in the fact that you know instantly when your food is at the correct temperature.

i love the fact that you can hit what meat temp you need. you can also program the temp on red meat

Finally found a thermometer that is easy to use and is high quality. Highly recommend this product.

Never received, even though I received a delivery notice. Subsequently advised that it could not be replaced and that my visa charge would be refunded.
