I hike and trail walk frequently through heavily forested areas. I'm a photographer. The bell was larger (happily) than expected. Very well made. Nicely finished. Exceptional quality. You can muffle it when you don't want sound. I attach it to my hiking pants. It's a really nice gift idea too, if you know hikers and campers.

Works great for when we are hiking with our dogs. We can hear where they are when they're off leash, and we believe it might also help scare any nearby bears off. Works as well as advertised.

This is a cute and necessary item for my new hobby. I purchased a walking stick and this is just what I wanted as one of my accessories, a BEAR BELL, compass, Ranger bands etc. I also like the magnet silencer and the net keeper which are part of this item. Velcro makes it easy to install.

This little bear bell works great! Secure Velcro strap, the sound is nice and loud and the little bag is comes with had a magnet on it to silence the bell when it's not in use.

Really like this. When your pet is sick, and you need to know when he/she needs to go out, in the middle of the night, it's priceless.

This bell is awesome, it makes the bears go running the other way. I put it on silence mode when I'm sneaking up for a kill shot when I'm carrying my bow.

After a few passing encounters, figured I'd give this bell a try. It is quite loud enough to give a good jingle. The little mesh bag keeps it silent when not needed. Fair price and it also alerts hunters to your presence on the trail.

It’s sturdy and loud bell The little bag with magnet is nifty but not needed. We use bells for mountain biking and walking the dog in the woods/mountains so silencing function is redundant

For the price this was nice. The bag is nice to silence it when you don't need it.
